I met Tommy Ford back in the fall of 2002 at a hotel where I worked at the time. He was a beautiful soul and extremely humble. He even gave me and my co-workers tickets to his play. I am forever grateful for meeting him. I also met Carl Payne. He was a beautiful soul and humble as well.
I got a chance to meet Tommy in Detroit at a high school. he was giving a motivational speech with his wife . He was definitely inspiration. He was definitely about the youth. RIP brother.

I’m so angry I didn’t get a copy of the picture we took with him. He was so nice and so, so tall! He was in between projects at the time and a little frustrated at the run around he felt he was getting from producers and executives in Hollywood. He had on a white jogging suit. Never forgot that day. ❤️
Some years ago him and his wife was hosting a gospel concert at St. Mark's MBC, I think that is the name of the church off 147th in Harvey, IL. He was so down to earth.

My father was the food service manager at the Juvenile Hall in Philly. Tommy came to visit the kids and try to motivate them out of living that life. My father had a few pictures with Tommy, and he always said how much of a gentleman he was.

Wow...I grew up watching Martin..so just Knoww all,of us at home were saddened by his passing too..Like we lost a brother..so sorry for ur loss..our loss...

Our choir had the pleasure of seeing him in passing at a festival. All I could remember was how kind he was for stopping what he was doing to smile and wave at us as we were walking by. Such a gentleman! Rest well in Heaven Tommy, job well done!

It was heartbreaking to hear of Tommy passing. I was in shock to say the least. He was such good guy and kept you laughing. Never forgotten and well missed.
