His music attracts all ages. I am 60 end of Feb and my wife is 60. We have tickets for his gig at the O2 in Brum and we are so looking forward to it. We love all kinds of music but there is something special about this band.
@@aztrodnb My son and I were lucky enough to see Sam at the Castle and Falcon in Digbeth last year for just £8 a ticket. We met up with him later for a chat and photos. A great guy. My son is blown away with him. Dont think we will be lucky enough to meet him again if you know what I mean.
Good lord, I'm 62 and adore this kid! I'm from America and it is so refreshing to see a kid with this much inside to life. Huge plus that he real! He says he was influenced by Bruce Springsteen, my all time favorite, and it shows. He actually has something to say! This kid is going place❤ Wish him the best!
Lace Bays So glad to hear someone else say this. I’m 64, stumbled across his music and now really want him to play outside UK so I can hear him live. I feel like we’re in on the ground floor almost. Second floor anyway.
I've never had children of my own but if I did and could, I would hope he would be as authentic and have a beautiful soul just like Sam's. Kiddo is absolutely awesome! 🌼
I'm even older than you are Phil, and I really enjoy and appreciate Sam fender's music. Yes, there is something quite special about him and his band. I'll plan on seeing him the next time he plays Minneapolis, maybe at First Avenue.
Someone mentioned a similarity to Springsteen in terms of genre and lyric content and I can really feel that. Fingers crossed he stays true to this and doesn't deviate.
What a genuinely lovely bloke. I could happily see myself getting on with Sam if I met him. Down to earth, nice normal bloke with an amazing talent of singing and songwriting. Bless him. ;-)
Awww, his northern Britt accent is so adorable! What a cutie! 😊 Edit: Damn, he plays so many characters; he almost reminds me of a new age David Bowie! R.I.P.
Jiyū na Willne doesn’t even sound Geordie he sounds posh and this lad is broad Geordie so he’s got a strong accent and I’m from Newcastle so I should know
Tango Wivafish no they didn’t don’t know what School Will went to but Sam went to John Spence, same school as Sean and Matty Longstaff and the True Geordie

Totally agree. I am 50 and really enjoy his sound. Music is ageless.
I'm 19 and couldn't agree more his music is something else!!!

Good to hear I'm not going to be the oldest at the gig Phil. I'm 53😁
Me too, They are fabulous, its nice to see real music instead of manufactured bubble pop
how can someone be so talented yet so modest at the same time he's unreal
I know - he is so humble! He really doesn't know just how good he is. Deserves all the success coming his way!

63 going under!
Personally, I would prefer him to bring a full album out, with conviction, rather than testing the water.
Paul Tracey It's out in august mate
9th August, a full album just for you Paul! 😂
@@olivia-may9005 Excellent news.
