What a neat little nugget to zip around in! Great on fuel, has AC, can be thrown around like any other car, and it's nice base for learning how to fiddle with cars! Spend some time getting clear headlight lenses and maybe a cheap set of alloy wheels and it'll be a pretty nice ride! My first car was a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire 4 door in tan with hand crank windows, no cruise control, and one working speaker but I loved it cuz it was MINE! 10 years later and its still running perfectly with not even a light on on the dash but its my backup car now. Enjoy your delightful little nugget and don't beat yourself up over it not being flashy or "cool" cuz at the end of the day, you're the one getting to rev the nuts off of it with your foot to the floor everywhere you go having the time of your life and not even breaking the speed limit in the process!
@@WestWalesFarmBoy Oh it was but the car came with a stereo that had an AUX cord input so you best believe I tried to blow that last speaker too! Eventually I put in nice new speakers. That car was my test bed for disassembling things and just learning. Now I do all sorts of customizations and repairs to cars!
Bought one of these to keep at my flat in Spain. Ex hire car which made me nervous but was right price. Had it 6yrs never put a foot wrong. We are car and badge snobs in UK. As long as it works that’s good enough for me. Left for months on end bought a booster pack as battery often flat. Other than that was great. Regularly went on road trips from southern Spain as far as north Galicia and Asturias really mountainous. Cute little car that wont let you down with regular maintenance. Mine had done 160k kilometres when I bought it and was an ex hire car. Had a service history with cambelt and clutch change. Did 55 mpg too
Its still a Daewoo. Chevy just licenced it to sell them in the uk. Dont put any money in it. Just maintain it until it dies. Then Invest in a car thats actually worth keeping. That is a throw away car lol
