The Constitution II is a full 50 years more recent, and a ship class above. There's no way she should be having trouble with a Walker-class.
If i had to choose i would put the Georgiou Class against an Excelsior or Constitution II Class (Yes it is now considered Mark-II instead of a refit in canon). All 3 ships are TMP Era.

Completely agree. There is a lot of inaccuracies in this game I have noticed. I wish it was more accurate.
Could you imagine today having a 50 year old warship against a ship today. Absolutely no match whatsoever. And given how technology advances so much faster as time goes on, in the future, the Enterprise A would basically look at the Shenzhou and it would blow up if this was anyway remotely accurate.
Always seems new Trek ships are made godlike. Almost as if they despise any Trek before them.
In universe, theres no way the Enterprise-A should have issues with a Walker Class vessel. I think this version of the Walker is way too overpowered.
Yarp, this is an early test, and next on my checklist is the phaser/shield/hull scaling. 😅

Yea, seems the A's weapons are underpowered or the walker refit is overpowered.
I'd say the Walker is Overpowered, this is a test build and the balancing looks to need phasers reduced a wee bit.😂
Yeah, the Connie II's Type VII phasers should be 50% more powerful than the Walker's Type VIs.

I've been looking at some of the comments, and I agree. I think the Walker was overpowered in this game.
That hull just wouldn't collapse even after you knocked out their shields.
Maybe they polarized the hull plating. 😄

Technically it is the Constitution Refit, Refit by the time of TMP. DISCO established that Connie had a previous version to the TOS Version. And its so funny that there is a Connie Refit, Refit, Refit version in your mods.
A previous version that was a lot bigger and more advanced, that is of course. 😂
Way overpowered
One thing I didn't like that why Starfleet didn't include an aft torpedo launcher on the Connie Refits. I thought that's one thing they should have changed for the Connie Refits. I agree that this contest has to go to the Walker class. It's definitely no slouch.
There was one. 1701-A had one, as did 1701 by WOK.
@@aaronatwood9298 The 1701 Refit did NOT have aft torpedo launcher. If they did they would have used it in the Mutara Nebula. Also the Enterprise-A didn't have one...at least according to official cross sections of the ships.
Put the walker against the enterprise B but do it on Tuesday

I would have to disagree with you. I give this to the Connie, not for it's brute strength but for it's endurance. I feel like it's shields were ultimately stronger and as a result was able to hold out longer. The real test would do an online battle with a real person though.
Ya, again the issue is there is no balancing mechanic. Still thinking of a 50 photon/quantum launching ship. I mean why not? It would fit right in with so much of the nonsense.
I'm assuming you are running all of these ships on the remastered STBC game. Do you need special mods to use these ships or will most mods (currently available) work with remastered? Thanks
Only mods updated for BC Remastered (RE) will run, as there are key differences for BC RE from other versions of BC.

If you ever do use the Enterprise-B in a match-up, make sure you do so on a Tuesday. You might have some bad results otherwise...

It would probably be a quick battle but we should find out the difference between the Walker class and the Crossfield class for laughs. Lol
If one class of ship could be carried over to TOS from DSC it would be this. How about Pew Pew vs TOS Defiant
No way dude... The Constitution class refit shields alone can withstand V'Ger torpedoes.
Can you retry the battle but have the player ship cloaked to stay out of the fight abd have the computer vs computer to get a better Idea of power

With all respect, the Walker is not balanced correctly. The Connie II should be at least twice as powerful as the Walker Class. The Walker Class is two generations behind the Connie II, and a whole class lower as a Light Cruiser to the Connie II's Heavy Cruiser. The TOS Enterprise should be able to easily defeat the Walker to say nothing of the much more powerful Constitution Refit. Even a mid-century refit Walker should be rather easily vanquished by the Enterprise-A. The Connie Refit's Type VII Phasers are 50% more powerful than the old style Type VIs, and the Photons around the same.
Is it possible to set the AI targeting preferences for the opposing ship? I think some of these battles might get even closer if the opposing AI targets the shield generator as well.
The Enterprise A looked weird... half the time they should be able to shoot other Phaser banks, in addition to the one that was doing it.

While I have much respect for the walker class it's no match for the Constitution class remember the constitution class was the most advanced heavy cruiser Starfleet could produce and there were only 21 in the entire federation so the theory that the walker comes even close is laughable it was in fact already outdated by the standards of the time.

I do not think this represents Star Trek Canon. If we are to analyse accurately the power of the constitution refit or NCC 1701 A, remember it is a heavy cruiser, see Star Trek 3 search for Spock when the Enterprise entered Space Dock. The Miranda class is only a light cruiser, and the Enterprise in Star Trek 2 was subjected to a surprise attack by Khan. Therefore the phasers on the Enterprise were never displayed at full power. Never in the TMP era again, just an obversation

I think there is a Walker class ship is too powerful for this simulation. The Shenzhou was already an old ship at the start of Discovery.
Ships in Discovery are particularly ugly, don't know what the producers are thinking.

Ok... Walker way too OP on hull rating and shields. 1701-A had aft torp, single fire.
There is NO WAY the Walker Class ship should out do or perform the Enterprise A, who ever made the mod for the Walker class ship has made it way to overpowered and God like, and needs to LEARN game balance.

the walker class is over buffed. even with the refit, the Constitution 2/refit would out box the walker.

I'm not buying that the older Walker class can handle the Enterprise A with such ease. It was inferior to the TOS Enterprise. I can't believe the Walker's DShields are handling the refit's superior phasers & photons with no effect? Your simulation has to be flawed.
