- As India is celebrating its 75th independence Savukku Shankar reveal the mystery behind an enigma named Netaji. He gets praised for his aggressive approach during India’s independence struggle as well as blamed for aligning with Japan & Germany that got involved in war crimes and genocide. In the first part of two part series Savukku Shankar talks about the good decisions and not so good decisions Netaji Subash Chandra Bose took but stress that his ultimate goal was to get independence.
Savukku Shankar, who is an Indian journalist, founder and writer of the Tamil news website- Savukku- started in 2010. He now popularly known for his views, content and commentary on politics and social issues of India and Tamil Nadu.

4:10 Gandhi wasn't a moderate... Moderates were predominant even before Gandhian era... And their influence was more before surat split... Even Gandhi can also counted as an extremist. Since he had advocated civil disobedience movements. And a non violent struggle doesn't mean essentially to be a moderate method. Moderates used petitions, prayers and other constitutional means. Whereas Gandhi lead mass struggle. Kindly don't mislead🙏

@@ajayanandh5705 no Mr.Ajay moderates method were extremely different and moreover they shown loyalty to the British paramountancy... They just wanted Dominion of India under British crown. That's why I am stressing that it won't be correct to put Gandhi inside moderate group. Some of the authentic sources like spectrum modern history, Bipin Chandra are also revealing the same thing and I agree that Gandhiji was neither an extremist nor a moderate. He cannot be clubbed into any of these two groups because he had proposed novel methods which led to the rise of Gandhian era in the Independence struggle.
