- Hey guys, finally I have done the Iris Based fragrance list, these are all from my collection. there are plenty more. let's check them out.
Iris note in fragrances give this Lipstick/cosmetics/make up box smell. it may be a more feminine note but many men also like this note. these fragrances will give you some idea how its utilized in different kind of fragrances. Check out my individual reviews on each. thank you.

Hi! Can you please help me I need your expertise! Why do I keep smelling makeup/powder/lipstick on fragrances? What’s is that note? Hurts my head! So it’s iris!!! You always answer my questions w your videos, u the best reviewer! What notes should I avoid if I want to stay away from lipstick 💄/powder/makeup smell?

Great list Joy! One fragrance not listed that I own (and like) is Zegna Florentine Iris. Very fresh iris and violet fragrance. I have Narciso EDP and I agree I like it a lot.

I prefer a different take on iris (fresh & dirty) like Florentine iris or amouage opus 5
Highly recommended, I retired most of formal & summer fragrances after having opus 5
Same with me, I own florentine iris but I like opus v more, projection & longevity is better with more unique scent for me
nikjvc the opening of opus v is divine
But sadly the opening fades after 30 minutes then all I can get from the dry down is fresh iris & Egyptian jasmin which is similar to Florentine iris

I sampled Narciso Rodriguez for Him EdP some time ago. The opening has (to me) a sickly sweet "Grandma"-perfume smell that I just can't get past. Perhaps I will give it another shot. Our noses don't always agree, Joy, but your opinions are always well-founded. A timely list, BTW, now that Dior Homme EdT has been neutered.

Theres a few that do, ive seen some on other channels complaining that 8-9 mins r too long lol and others complaining that jeremy fragrance's videos r too short, we cant win with some ungrateful ppl
