I have the biggest amount of respect for this man, forget the politics etc, surviving jail with a profile like his is mind blowing, I spent 18 months in glen parva in the early 2000's, got on the wrong side of a gang of black guys from brum after ticking burn from one of them and not bending when they wanted more of my canteen than what I owed, wasn't going to unit 5 (fragle wing) was the most terrifying time of life, got through it with a black eye and banged up ribs, can't imagine what Tommy went through.

I gets took down block & when i got back on unit 9 my man had told every black kid in There that i was racisit & had been shouting kkk out the window. I got a rate kickin but refused to go in protective custody.
