They were smart not to release all the heroes because now they can constantly add em on a regular basis rather than once every 3 months. The game will remain new for a while this way.
Well basically they are following on wildrift step..
Both game have a ton of characters in their respective og game.. So they release a few of them, than start to release the rest one at a time..
They could also release a few instantly in a few patch
Players would be overwhelmed with so many new heroes, so it is wise to release them periodically after players getting used to mechanics

Wu Zetian is an exclusive hero in China . So, maybe They cannot transfer her from China to global. they might use Ilumia(Wu Zetian Arena Of Valor ver)

The original game of HOK was KOG and it was released in 2015 in china and the MLBB was released in 2016

Heroes design is in hok is stunning. I would love to see more ethnic diversity and body shapes, especially for a game that aims at a global audience though. Good luck.

I believe a lot of the characters will still be based around chinese legends, but they are releasing more new heros exclusive to global version, heino and doria, luara for example

Wu Zetian is nearly impossible to be released on global server, in Chinese server, Wu Zetian can be obtained only using mythic crystal, the same crystal to get Mythic skins
It looks like other heroes could be released globally, but Wu Zetian can't because she is a Chinese figure, a female emperor

Hope they will release A Ke and not replace her with Butterfly, as Butterfly is the old A Ke, hope they both exist in the game
they will not..a Ke skill set now is Quillen set..or they just can import Quillen from AOV. Her model is already outdated same as genghis khan
@euariaeu8873 I don't think so as Quillen's look already exist in HOK he is Prince of Lanling which is equivalent to Batman in AOV, and A KE still looks so cool, the movements, she looks like she's dancing when fighting, it just feels different when I play her.
