👒 Studio Ghibli Howl's Moving Castle relaxing painting process

Hi there 🌞
It’s meeco and I’m back with another painting video !! And again, I’m painting a scene from one of my favourite Studio Ghibli movies which is Howl's Moving Castle ! The scene I'm painting today is when Howl and Sophie up in the sky, floating and walking in the air. Every movement and music of this scene is so graceful, light and it actually magical. The movie has many amazing scenes but I really love this scene, it gives me goosebumps 🤭
My previous Studio Ghibli painting video attracted quite a bit of attention, I'm overjoyed and really thank you all for supporting me. I'm more than grateful to have all of you here today. And I hope we can keep making art together 🥰

It may be silly, but this movie is just so special to me to the point where I could not even begin to describe how much even a single screenshot of it can make me happy. So, seeing you painting them, with such a lovely grace and just as lovely music in the background really touched my heartstrings, it legit almost made me cry. I really like those type of transitions at like 3:05 so I appreciate the editing work there and also I’m glad your Ghibli pieces get so much attention ☺️ I believe you fully deserve it! Your Ghibli pieces are really something else they’re so pretty. I love this art style and the work you do is delightful. I’d wonder how you’d tackle something Ni no Kuni which also has Ghibli art direction ☺️

@@meecoart You're welcome! 😊Yes it is a video game :D it has a score made by Joe Hisaishi and artwork inspired by Studio Ghibli so many of the colors and characters are made from that universe. It's a wonderful game and has a sequel as well. There are also artbooks from those games too that may shed light on what I'm talking about with the art style

I haven't experienced too many materials so I can't say which is the best. But I am very satisfied with the materials I am using, you can refer to the description. The tips is use a paper that isn't too grainy if you're using gouache, and use less water if you want your painting to look more opaque. And you will discover the way of painting that works best for you, that's my opinion 😊🌼

I put the original pictures in front of me and drew them. I'm a perfectionist so even though it took a lot of time, I still wanted to draw as close to the original as possible.. Thank you so much 😊🌼
