If I see one more mf say, "If you think that's hard play actual guitar hero! Or "Try learning this on a real guitar!" I'm gonna crash out. I'm getting a riffmaster for my birthday just chill tf out. And I'm not spending hundreds of dollars for a real guitar either. Mfs think they're so cool because they're gonna have arthritis in their 60s like stfu.
You're actually pretty lucky to have this game, basically any GH/RB game with standard controller support has HORRIBLE mapping for them and it kinda sucks ass to play on meanwhile I am a veteran of GH and rhythm games in general, and I picked up the default mapping for this game within an hour
I'm glad Harmonix didn't skimp out on chart difficulty just because they were stuck on Fortnite now.. looking forward to more tough stuff being added to the list if they were willing to make a whole season dedicated around a metal band
This is a really nice fc (full combo)! As a suggestion, you can change your binds to ones that may seem weird at first but might help improving/harder songs when you're used to them. First Lane: Left Trigger Seconds Lane: Left Bumper Third Lane: Any of the actions buttons (X etc.) Fourth Lane: Right Bumper Fifth Lane: Right Trigger
As a person who plays on switch I can understand especially that hard solo part like when I was playing LuX eterna! On the drums it was hard like my hands were getting sweaty and it’s hard to play the patterns and all.
@Seahawks931 Nope, as of season 3 of chapter 5, you can use the pro color scheme for all parts. You can also play pro mode without needing a guitar controller.
They're called lift notes. You can either treat them like a regular note and just tap again as you would normally, or you can hold from the initial note until the arrow and then release.
I hate how sometimes I want to treat them like regular notes, but the timing of my releasing of the button is barely close enough to register, so my pressing down counts as a miss and ruins my streak
if you're struggling with lifts firstly, don't try to hit them as separate notes, it's a bad habit and most of the time the timing window is so relaxed that just releasing the note before will play the lift without any timing needed. When it comes to actually playing lifts, try not to 'articulate' them. Most lifts are placed in-between notes in a static rhythm, and instead of thinking of the lift as it's own note, only think of playing the two regular notes between the lift and just hold the first note until halfway to the next note. (i hope this explanation makes sense) Use the momentum of your fingers to help establish the rhythm of the lift notes (constantly keep your fingers moving)
when you stare at basically any rhythm game for long enough, usually it becomes easier to read patterns, even beyond memorization. so like GH has some songs with absolutely insane solos but after a while if you get good with them it becomes a lot easier to do tough sections on the spot
The context to those 5 lanes isn't strings, but rather a group of frets visualized. That's due to rhythm highway games typically being played on guitar controllers.
Is skibidi toilet based?

Shut up lil bitch buy a guitar hero like a man
me
im trying to learn this on guitar and it is a pain in the ass.
bro im 15 and I get wrist pain because of rhythm games sometimes
@@moimnotfrench I've had my whole arm start hurting on some songs in the past, but it's not a problem as I've gotten better since then.
As a RG/GH veteran...welcome buddy, everyone gets it at some point.
Thanks, finally an og gh player that isn't trying to prove that they're better in the comments.

I think that the drum chart is just as painful
I've only played the lead and bass charts on it so far.

fairly new to the rock band style of rhythm games and i just managed to hit the solo on expert controller, I definitely feel the hand pain 😭😭😭
I was leaning forward on the edge of my bed, focusing as hard as I could to hit the solo.

I've tried those binds and hated them. And I can fc most songs within like 15 attempts.
@@JackAdventures_ then for now your binds can be whatever feels comfy
@@jito-electro_1362For third and fifth lane I'd say swamp them, though have the 5th button be X (PlayStation), A (Xbox), or B (Switch)
@@MMX974 i have em like that since third lane is hardly used in most expert songs, but i do main my keyboard so ill check that out whenever i can
That chart is a real pain in the gut, I managed to finally FC the song myself recently, feeling the relief after hitting that last note.
As a person who plays on switch I can understand especially that hard solo part like when I was playing LuX eterna! On the drums it was hard like my hands were getting sweaty and it’s hard to play the patterns and all.
imagine creeping death
the drum chart is just as hard if not worse honestly 😂 but yeah the arthritis is gonna bite me in the a** when im older
They finally added colors
Colors have been a thing for a while now
isnt it only on pro mode tho?
