You're confusing two different things. Knowing the history is one thing, vibing to shi from 25 years ago is another. I'm 42, we didnt vibe to shi from the 80s either, but we knew it and appreciated it.
@clarissaturcios2346 ofc I'm not speaking for everybody. Vibing is probably the opposite word I was looking for. The vast majority of people wild out to shi they grew up with. Ppl hear the songs 100 times and know the lyrics. THAT'S what gets people lit to the point of wildin out at a concert. Not many people listen to songs from before they were born, on repeat. Looks to me like most people there were just vibing to Meth. Ppl are losing perspective. Everyone so sensitive these days. I remember Jay flaming Prodigy at Summer Jam; I don't remember Run DMC or Slick Rick performing that summer.🤔 Lemme go pull up the lineup from Summer Jam 1998.
@clarissaturcios2346 I was right I just looked up Summer Jam 1998 and 1997, not a single act was on stage from the 80s. It was all current artists. Let's be real, the Furious Five would have NOT moved that crowd.
