Good question, as it’s about making sure that the inline dropout inserts are cut at the right point leaving enough of the tube exposed at the back of the lead, so about 10mm minimum. I use the Gardner tail rubbers which provide a tight fit yet as soon as leadcore is under tension, the lead pops off. I would be confident of casting this up to 70-80 yards.
Having watched lots of corda underwater videos on fish feeding and avoiding going over anything dodgy ,,I am even more convinced we only catch the dopey youngsters 😮,,,
Hello Dan Nice videos. Wich inline lead is this you are using./type/brand
Hi Jeffrey, Dan uses Gardner's Bottle Bomb Inline Leads and in this instance a 5oz
How are you stopping the lead from discharging on the cast if your using a drop off system?
