So many questions! T-Mobile needs an updated FAQ for eSIM - I was just reading a webpage it had like 7 bullets on how dual SIM works on their Android/Samsung and I can't find it now! 1. Can you edit the network data mode for each active SIM? Specifically, can you disable 5G data on both lines. 2. Are the default SIM settings for inbound activity? Let's say your primary line is defaulted for new SMS/MMS and Calls, however you want to use the other SIM can you tap the icon and switch it easily? Versus "ask every time" I like the default/primary option and the toggle option I seen in a screenshot that shows how simple it is to change from SIM1/SIM2 to place a call/send a new message. 3. Do you use visual voicemail? How does it work? Are both lines notified of visual voicemail equally?Can you be on a voice call with SIM1 an get an SMS/MMS on SIM2? I read you have to restart VVM by switching the primary SIM which is annoying if true. If on a call on SIM1, and SIM2 gets a call, does SIM2 ring at all or go straight to voicemail? Once SIM1 call ends, do you get a notification you missed a call on SIM2? A video tutorial demoing everything and common scenarios, pros and cons would be the ideal visual explanation.
If you’re going to use eSIM and a physical Sim card, both of those phone numbers are gonna have to be connected with data and you will be able to use both phone numbers using T-Mobile DIGITS
@@BlizzyM0bileGunner but I have to change the preferred sim card. If the preferred sim is physical then, only physical sim can use mobile data. If preferred sim is esim and vice versa
Yes you can use a physical Sim in the phone along with the electronic Sim, I am not sure if you can use two different carriers even if you're unlocked I'm not sure about that one
So on my s21 I have dual sim but not the option for the esim. So I have both turned on and use talk and text for fork sim and data for second sim . My question is can you do that with the s22 dual sim-esim, call from esim and use data at the same time from regular sim?

How many ESIM can you have active, try it, if you have 2 ESIM, wont have a only 1 active each eSIM

Yes you use a physical Sim and the esim which means you have two SIM cards and two separate phone numbers
Can you still make phone calls and recive text if you turn off your primary sim with the primary sim number over your secendary esim line ?
You can actually switch back and forth between eSim and your physical Sim

When you turn off the second sim card, can you get messages or does it send an away message for clients?
When you turn off 1 sim your basically turning off all data until you turn it back on
The physical sim keep turning off on me
You might have moved it from the physical sim to esim..you can switch back and forth..or you may need a new sim..sorry for late reply
