Hands-down, putting the larger Indy seat /gas tank Changes everything on an older Polaris I’ve got every 1989 Polaris Indy outfitted with those seat and tank. Heaven on the trail
Very cool sled. I used to have a 72 ss 400 free air. I have a 73 fan charger 400 now. Werent you also supposed to stay on the inside of those ropes at the beginning?
The 72 and 73’s sure have a look of their own! The club unloading parking lot is behind me at the start. I really didn’t know the rope was there until I went under it. I was following the other tracks from the unloading area to the trail.
Nice ride . Sled sounds amazing.
Thanks! It runs great!

Heaven on the trail
Yeah, you must be talking about my '80 TX video. It's night and day on the trail. And having the option for 11 gallons of pre-mix is nice to!
Where can i find one like this, bucket list
I can help you with that. Email me.

@paulcameron3567 yeah i like these 72s and 73s. I had a custom 530 1973 at one time too. Does yours have the headlight covers?
@@MidnightPolaris800 Yes, it does have the covers. I always liked the Custom. Putting a TX seat on really changes the looks.
@paulcameron3567 yeah im kind of still regretting selling that custom 530...yours is cooler being air cooled, mine was a fan
@@MidnightPolaris800 yeah, 72 was the only year for the free air. The 73 Custom would have been really cool as a free air!
