So excited and glad you're putting yourself out there man! Your work and support for the whole pedal community is remarkable. You are truly a gem John, keep up with the good work! Blessings from Puerto Rico 🙏
This was great! Makes me miss my obstructures guitar. I'm sure it would be a ton of work on your end, but you should do a rundown of your amp collection someday!
welcome, not sure we'll do anything like that (making a video usually takes 2-3x longer than doing the actual task) but I will surely keep it in mind! we mainly develop our own products.
Yeah! Was going to say that the delay was doing a ring-mod sort of thing to the fuzz in that last demo. I know really short delays will act as comb filters, but I’ve never heard one do that before!
Awesome stuff, John! I have the same relationship with the Tensor. Truly unique. Question about the amp setup. When you recorded, were you using channel 1 or 2 on the Mother? Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I use channel 1 primarily for this band since I get most of my drive from pedals. I wish I had channel 2 for my old post-metal band. I would have never turned it off.
Awesome video, John! I've recently become interested in aluminum guitars, and necks in particular. Do you ever experience any tuning issues I've heard some people report? Otherwise, I like the sound and apparent low maintenance they seem to offer. Neck dive doesn't scare me too much.😂
Thanks! I don't experience tuning issues, but that's because I'm generally playing at room temp. Aluminum necks do exhibit slightly more thermal expansion than wood, which in the era of blazingly hot incandescent stage lighting was a problem. Today, not so much. I will say, much of what people associate with the aluminum "sound" is pickups, not the construction. Bean-style pickups with a maple neck guitar will absolutely get that sound. Hope that helps!
@@electronicaudioexperiments thanks! I appreciate getting the scientific answer and rationale for why it's not an issue. Most of the other places I've asked just reference old concert footage and call each other wrong without offering much explanation.😂 This helps!
Make a lot more content, I came form Emily harpist, Brother you’re cuddly af it’s a great brand it’s up there with Hank green and Jamie from mythbusters
You know it’s going to be great with mewithoutyou and pile posters in the background 👀🔥
Yeah I wanna see more of this, especially that guitar!

I couldnt say it better
Thank you so much!
listening to weird machine now - and its just what I needed - aside from a Halberd and a OxEAE fuzz
Really appreciate you putting this up John! The ep is so sick, can’t wait for the next one!
This was very fun. Welcome to the annoying metal boys club as any Fortin comes with a free membership.
Hah, thank you! I suppose if the noise gate fits 😅

Thank you! I do want to dive into some of the amps here, especially since many of them are modified.
loved this from the first clean tone
Tones crazier than a warthog in a ten-gallon hat!
I really need to get an ADG-1 one of these days. Great video John.
Amazing video! Thank you so much mate!
I'm so excited for this, hope you keep 'em coming!
Thank you - we are planning on it!
@@electronicaudioexperiments as someone whose main tone is obstructures through halberd it’s awesome to see how you run it!
ALL my favorite sounds, dude!
you understand me
Here from Emily Hopkins ticktock
Came looking for teardown and repair video
Hope to see that type of content on your channel soon

Loved this my man thanks
the nasty clang tone was the besssttt
More videos please!
Everything on this rig is just perfect!!!!
Did u use any buffer or euna or something similar?
The dual Halberd has to be released John!!
I love my Halberd, so having two in one box would be epic.
Loved this! Some ring mod-esque noises coming out in parts.

@@mooseyard @xchris1ian there's definitely an overlap between an octave fuzz and ring mod! that's probably what you're hearing.
I'd love to see an Ember Wreath rig rundown
I don't ever have a static rig for that project! It's all very spontaneous. I can perhaps discuss my workflow for drone music at some point.
Want more !
Those two halberds togethers is the bed I wanna die on
Man that's awesome thanks
So dope

Might be worth looking into that description as the links didnt link properly and some were cut short
Good vid though!
How much for the whole board? Oh, and the guitar too? Srsly, great demo. I love these tones and appreciate gaining some insight on how to get them.

Sounds amazing! Are the pickups in the guitar typical p90’s or are they Travis Bean influenced??

aw, thank you! I spend most of my time on product development, but I am hoping to find time for more videos.
on the amp, what do you have the power scaling set at? sounds great!
Thanks! For this video I had it in the 5W mode. On the EP, we ran it at 25W.
Do you got an Instagram for your pedal company?
sure do! instagram.com/electronicaudioexperiments/

What tuning are you using?
C standard!
@@electronicaudioexperiments What kind of strings? Looks like that set has a wound third?
