I agree, I never understood why they don't just update the pois to iconic locations. Bring back verdansk, let the og map sit for a month, then every few weeks add some pois that are multiplayer maps from all the games.

I don’t think it would work, all the constant updates, making stuff fit and look like it belongs alone would be impossible for 90% of maps. Don’t forget verdansk is based in Europe/ Eastern Europe so what icon maps fit that theme?

The real question is why remove the maps in the first place. Rebirth and verdansk should have never been removed
Because everyone was crying about how they wanted a new map lol. For three seasons they kept making big changes in Verdansk to see if that would satisfy the communitys hunger for a big change but it wasn't enough. Then they dropped Caldera and everybody was crying about bringing Verdansk back. People were also crying about slide canceling and then when they removed it in the new COD everyone was crying about how the game sucked after removing it.
@@maldobostero12 you can add maps without removing what exists. Apex for example has like 5 maps that rotate.
Warzone 1 should just reopen the servers with verdansk and rebirth. Just make skins for that game as well

Honestly i never really played much br across all cods that have brs. Its only now that im actually finding enjoyment from playing br and going back and watching verdansk games made me realize what i was actually missing out on. I can't wait to play verdansk later this year hope they upgrade it in someway

I actually don't think Urzikstan is that bad. People will always prefer Verdansk more, because that was the first map on Warzone, our first love that we never forget. But for those of us who are born and raised in an Eastern European country, we can relate much of the atmosphere in Urzikstan. I must say that Urzikstan has evoked nostalgia for me, reminiscent of my real-life experiences as a young kid. And I think if a map is able to do that, there is definitely something special about it.
Verdansk is eastern Europe too but both barely remind me to anything from my country (Bulgaria)

Urzikstan is based on Syria, iraq and Kurdistan/middle eastern countries. It has Russian influence but it’s a middle eastern country just like Al mazrah, idk where you get Eastern Europe from. Verdansk is the Donetsk region of Ukraine/Russia

What’s weird is Blackout, the black ops version of Warzone added new multiplayer POI’s every few weeks to the map.
That was my thought….. isn’t he just describing Blackout?
Now there are new POIs in the store that's what they like adding

You are spot on. Add new POIs in areas like farm dam and over to the West of Scrapyard. That’s maybe 3-4 maps you can slide in there

I think eventually we will get verdansk back, hopefully with ranked on it, but it might take awhile longer they're still trying to make the rocks climb able but it's a LOT of work 😂.

Big map rotations with a Verdansk style map, do it Apex style rotation system.
Blackout was great for that iconic maps frequent updates but still not enough but still better. I mean I would even like a map like blackout with loads of old maps put together but with warzone engine

Ranked on big maps, verdantly is fire but I like urzikstan too. Just want more to be about the big map. I’m only a big map guy but all I play is rebirth cause It’s beginning war zone vibes. But I always said put a bunch of old maps together for a big map
They did exactly what you're saying with using old maps as pois in blackout.
I think Verdansk returns this year. You can’t bring Verdansk back in MW3 because of the canon story, Verdansk was nuked.
But if Black Ops Gulf War is indeed the real deal and it’s set in 1991 let’s sY. You can release Verdansk 91 and keep that map going then you set MW4 which is all but confirmed too and have it set years after MW2019 to the point where Verdansk has basically been mostly rebuilt after the nuke and now you can release a modern day Verdansk too.
And then with MW4 after we defeat Makarov because we are more than likely gonna end him.
We have the Warzone Verdansk story be that Makarovs army are trying to take down Verdansk again as retaliation and the story continues from there as the warzone story is usually set after the campaign
You're one of the very few that I ever hear talk good about Advanced Warfare I loved that game I watched my dad 1v6 on Search and Destroy constantly with just a knife the movement was definitely ahead of its time we were on PS3 and my dad had two accounts in the top 100 of capture the flag most of my clan was in the top 100 of capture the flag the other guys that were in our clan were our rivals I should have been on PS4 and streamed from that game onward maybe if I would have I'd be a fellow streamer

Hey CODM battle royale changed years ago where they got rid of the DINER and Airfields.. they removed loscstionsc andreplaced them with new buildings they have tons of loot causing more playing a to play alll around the map. Don’t see why that came to that for Warzone …

RE: bringing back old maps. Battlefield 2042 tried to do that, and it was great. However, they failed miserably with optimization until recently. The portal system in CoD would be amazing, but, Microsoft isn't going to stand for that.
completely agree.. they would be much better off to replace/swap/add POIs to big map like verdansk and have it be new than completely wash it

the idea of old iconic maps integrated.. thats literally blackout LOL but that PLUS the gun build mechanic are why i liked blackout better and maybe it's because I was a casual player but i liked not having to completely relearn a map.. i didn't mind verdansk but i definitely liked blackout better

The comment that i read a while ago about more maps in rotation stating "We don't want the game to take so much space on a system". Well give the player the option to install it or not if that's your concern. Stop controlling how we want to have fun. I like all the maps so let me play them and don't force me into playing something you want me to play in a game i spend money on. Give more freedom, get more players and you don't need to worry about dead servers or dead content. At least, that is how i look at it.

What it feels like they fail to understand is that if you upgrade the game & listen to the community the community will then buy MORE micro transactions… I had no problem buying a pack back on Verdansk because the game had positive vibes all around. I now haven’t bought a pack in a year or longer.
The should give us a top tier map, that they can update POI's on, every few weeks or month a change happens, like how Fortnite sets it's game out. PS they are bringing Verdansk back because GTA 6 will have so many people on there.

I don't watch Nick, but this video came across my feed. I agree, whole heartedly. I am a big map player, but I'm being forced to play resurgence bc it's the only ranked mode. I play ranked bc its the only mode with incentive. BR has grown so stale since mw3 came out.
They need to do 120-150 player ranked on big map but they scared.
