Why Did Normandy Become the "Viking" Part of France?

  • Normandy in the North of France was named after the Northmen, what we today might call the Vikings. The Normans would go on to conquer England in 1066 and Sicily, as well as rivalling the power of French kings at home for centuries. In this video I look at the origin of the Normans.
