This fight had me fooled first round it looked like nick wasn’t even trying & day day was going easy on him since nick seemed like he wasn’t trying to fight. Then nick completely flip the fight around

I haven't figured out why everyone always hates. Half the time it's his weight, and the other half is split between his style, and ref ability. You guys sure are a shit fanbase.
I’ve seen UFC fighters laugh about it 😂 it looks dumb AF. Most These refs think they are cooler then they actually are.

Excellent change of strategy in the second round. He looked like he practically gave up in the first round but his corner did a great job getting his head back in the fight. He came out more aggressive and focused, looked for that take down and got the finish. Great job man.

It's something in the way his defense is the way he steps to the side or turns his back for a second is like the way a kid fighting a bigger raging bully would fight.

Day Day you fight orthodox but you lead with a leaning off balance right straight..... lead with your left jab and follow up with that right ol son. You'll have much more balance, accuracy, and power which in turn will inflict more damage per punch.
My man Nick when applying the RNC hammer fist the body to loosen their grip on your top hand of the choke, works like a charm every time. Why does it work you might say... it's like a magician using one hand to distract you from what the other hand is really doing, keep your choke locked in but at the same time with your free hand lay down some hammer fists to the body. You'll be accomplishing two things, 1 you'll take their attention off the choke momentarily and 2 you'll take some wind out of their defense if you land one in the sternum or even the ribs.
Both of y'all are warriors either way and with some training you fellars can be some beasts! Not saying you're not already formidable but I'm saying there's always room for improvement through proper training, sparring, and education of the art of MMA. 🙇🏻♂️
