I never lived in New York, but I remember some of these commercials from 40 years ago.

That Sergio Valente ad is a lot of fun, although the 'dreamboat' guy looks like he's a serial killer from a late night thriller.
Enjoyed the ad for 42nd Street.

I was almost 9 months old when this aired. Ch 9 newscast will revamp themselves as News 9 and we soon have a new weatherman on the block named Lloyd Lindsey Young and the 8pm News 9 Primetime began within a few weeks. We watched the News at Noon everyday living in East Keansburg, New Jersey. Ted Turner from WTBS Atlanta will colorize Yankee Doodle Dandy 3 years later.

Sensational legal ID at the end. This must have been in between WOR-New York and WWOR-Secaucus.

And Ted Mallie heard V/O'ing "In a moment, back to 'A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court'." Also sounds like Bill St. James on the Waldbaum's ad.

The 2 commercials are suppose to say "PS Gitano jeans", not PS Citano jeans.
