Man Izzy had Alex KO'd at the end of that first round, Alex was "saved by the bell" for real at that moment.
Just like their second fight, he had to have a standing count Izzy was on way to victory.
But that’s the difference, when you hunt in the wild you must time your kill. Pereira was waiting, and when he attacked for the kill there was no going back.
The "bell" is part of the game. No excuse. If he wanna ko, is better to do it faster

The outcome sometimes don’t tell you the full story of how he got robbed in one of the kickboxing matches when Alex was in front of his home crowd and he nearly had him out in the first round of the last match and had the lead on the scorecards till the 5th round . If I was a betting man, I’d still be bullish on Izzy 👊

Plus, the pre fight press conference he said he’s gonna treat this as a brand new fight and even told people to forget the other 3 fights because the one Saturday is the one that matters.
