People who falsely accuse innocent people of molestation/rape should get prison time. That’s extreme slander. Allegations of sexually assaulting ANYONE never goes away especially children. Even when they’re false allegations

I hope that anyone who would falsely accuse another person of a crime of this magnitude and level of evil against an innocent child should automatically be held accountable and pay with jail time and education. I don’t understand why it’s not a law? The irreparable damage done to someone who is labeled a pedophile and child molestar - proven or not- will ruin lives and futures. This type of slander and defamation should be dealt with accordingly.

The justice system sucks. They’ll never put people like her away for false accusations. It pisses me off that people get away with ruining an innocent person’s reputation over nothing. Makes me physically sick to my stomach.

I've said it before. There needs to be a false accusation offender registry and it needs to remain open to the public.

I could tell by his emotions in the beginning that he didn’t touch his granddaughter. I have a feeling one of her parents did it, & they’re trying to protect each other from it. Very sick story. I’m extremely happy for the grandfather, & I don’t blame him for being pissed off

I really can understood his anger. Of course if someone as innocent being acused like this i think a lot peoples are going being lose their own control in any length. He denied it and an expose of the show said that 'lie-detectors' only have a 70-77% correct pass rate. And that's when administered by a skilled practitioner. Tis a very crude science (or non-science) to entrust your life and reputation with . . .

My friends dad was only kind when he was drunk. So backwards.

I hope this grandpa gets custody of his granddaughter. No one should ever be falsely accused, that’s why I never went to the police when I was molested because I thought they wouldn’t believe me because I could easily crush him cuz I weighed so much more than him (at the time, now I weigh so much far less). I was terrified. He used the same tactics he always used when he wanted me to do something I don’t want to do. And trust me when I say this, idk anyone that wouldn’t get scared of that. So many panic attacks and he didn’t care.
Once I told him he’s making me worse and he said “I know” and laughed. I wasn’t allowed to leave. He kept breaking into my house daily.
Then he went to jail for raping two minors and I was set free, but never got my own justice (I was also a minor, but those kids were much smaller than me which is why I didn’t ever think they’d believe me)
I am now anorexic. I’ve been through too much abuse and he’s not the only one, the worst was my mother. This all lead to horrible memory loss, short term and long term. I have to sign up for disability because my trauma ruined my brain soooo much that I also get seizures and can’t find a job because they’re too frequent. I’m trying to fix it, I’m sick of people blaming me cuz “well you just gotta do it yourself”
Ive been in therapy for 11 years, I’m trying so hard. It’s NOT my fault and I’m finally coming to terms with that. Now I shut everyone out cuz I’m sick of hearing it.

I'm glad that the grandfather proved his innocence. His demeanor convinced me he was innocent from the start. That poor man will probably never get over being accused of something so terrible as child molestation. Not to mention the possible lasting stigma of being accused of this.

@@tyreseforren6721 they're more accurate than some of the people giving testimonies because a lot of people lie to protect others the thing is it's not 100%, it points to the answer of what is true or not that means it gives a different view in the person that you're interviewing and a lot of lie detector test are coming out to be more true than lies
You do realise that the tests are only 83-90% accurate right which is well documented. That's why they aren't admissible in court. So regardless of whether someone has taken one that ain't going to mean that they are going to not go to jail if it shows they are innocent, I mean Christ even the Green River killer was able to pass the lie detector test after killing around 70+ people

To play devil's advocate, my father made himself out to be this great father, a great hero, to the point that my memories warped around it due to how much abuse I was dealing with through my childhood. Then he gave up on me, then he got angry at me, then he became disappointed in me, then he started controlling me, then he started beating me, until he finally dropped me off on my mom's doorstep since he didn't seem me worth the effort anymore.
He told me 6 months ago (I turned 20 two days ago) that he didn't care if I hurt myself or killed myself (which is an ongoing risk due to my mental health,) that he had a clear conscience, because he knew it was me being spiteful and broken, not him being wrong.
If he wants to be involved in my children's lives, when I have them, no matter how nice he is to them compared to me, he needs to get on his knees and repent. Not to God, I don't believe in that shit, but to me, and to my sister, and everyone whose lives he's ruined.
At that point I *might* consider it.
And his last name definitely stops with me. Either I marry into another name, or I just change it, regardless of all the paperwork hell required for it.

I am so happy that the grandfather passed his test and from how much he is truly emotionally hurt from being falsely accused of a crime that he didn’t commit, I believed in him and as a result, he told the truth! I thank Steve for clearing his name and giving him a chance to send that liar behind coaching off Steve’s studio. That was incredible! I wanna wish him the best now he can be relieved from all that madness and enjoy a happy life with his family.

All because his daughter was jealous of the bond her daughter had with her grandfather. Something she thinks he never gave her; which we don't know if it's true or not.
Being accused of molestation is not the easiest thing to get over but what makes it worse to get over is when people don't let it go now if he's around people that don't believe he's capable of doing that and try to help him move on from being accused of it then he has more of a chance to walk away from it and move on with his life but it also depends on if he's not been touched himself now if he's been molested as a child and is accused it's harder but I don't know exact case with the grandpa but I do understand certain situations of it but it's never easy dealing with being accused of foul things and men are having that issue way too much these days
You're right I probably will never get over this and the truth of the matter is I was in my daughter's life but her mother would keep her from me and tell her that I didn't want to see her when she came to live with me when she was 18 she admitted to me that she knew that I wanted to be a part of her life and her mother kept her from me

This is also why its so important to listen to both sides of a story, because there are often two very contradictory accounts.
My ex husband was accused of touching his Daughter, by his bitter first wife, NOT by his Daughter but she revoked her claims very quickly. Unfortunately, just in that short time, the damage was done; he couldn't cuddle his Daughter or Niece without people being present...he was petrified of repercussions.
I hope your Daughter gets the help she clearly needs but I find it so hard to comprehend how someone can do this to their own flesh and blood. If you were such a bad Father, why was your Daughter happy to allow you to spend time with your Granddaughter in the first place!!? Your Daughter's claims and accusations don't add up.

My heart breaks for Alvin and his granddaughter. For her to grow up in that environment, with parents like that is a tragedy within itself. But now this, you have to be one sick and twisted individual to do something like this. It makes you just as much of a monster as anyone who commits such a heinous crime as this. As devastating as it was to hear Alvin say he couldn’t trust his granddaughter anymore, I understand to an extent. I would love for their relationship to continue, but he’s right… how can he trust her? Yes she’s Just an innocent child, but how does he know they won’t or haven’t already turned her against him. If they’re (Sasha) capable of something like this, there’s no telling what else they’re telling her.. let alone about him, but in general. To be a grown ass adult and not only use/coach your child, but to be jealous of then and a relationship they have with another loved one, all because you didn’t.. I understand it hurt her to not have her father, her why set out to use, then destroy him. You could’ve just as easily cut him off and out of your life. She needs to be charged. I hope her daughter cuts her off and out of her life when she finds out about this later on… and she will.

Showering everyday is actually not healthy for your skin as well as shampooing. It dries your skin out and kills your hair
I used to not be able to bathe my daughter but every other day (per dr suggestion) because her skin was super sensitive and would dry out with any soap. But this lady is just lazy like 🤧🤧

wow. this is just so sad. i feel so bad for alvin. i hope he gets to somehow enjoy time with his granddaughter and be able to trust her in the future. he definitely should never let his daughter back into his life. she is terrifying, and really put a lot at stake by coaching her daughter. so so sad
I don't know what I would have done without my grandparents, and the fact that the granddaughter lost a grandparent is sad. It's sad that he had to prove his innocence for something that he didn't do.

That’s really heartbreaking and you know it’s such a small percentage of people that are accused compared to the people that are assaulted But overall you can tell how much that man genuinely cared it’s hard to fix that kind of genuine this and I and I would’ve been shocked if he was lying because he seems very very honest

I knew he was innocent from the thumbnail alone. Those aren't fake tears, his whole body language matched up with what he was saying, I've never seen anyone, including those who were innocent as well, be so adamant they would pass. I personally feel like the dad did it while blackout drunk and the wife is trying to protect him. He seemed way too nervous for there not be something he is hiding, even if it isn't this.

False accusations are the worst, it tears people apart. My father was accused of it and it had been very hard on him. I love my father, he could never❤

Yeah, its horrible. And it's also awful for that child, my daughter had a step mom like this and her dad went along with it, accused his own mother of that! It was proven twice to be false allegations and then finally her dad and step mom were charged with injury to a child and providing false information to police. And the injury to a child is from the mental and emotional abuse (most coming from being convinced she was more then likely a sexual abuse survivor) that turned into depression and anxiety and then manifested itself physically in self harm. My daughter will probably be in therapy forever over all of it but I have full custody of her now.
Plus it could also get someone killed

People dont realize that they can in a way "coach" children to say something by suggesting it or asking them "was it granpa" instead of letting the child openly speak.
Man my question is how could she do this to her own father ? Did she do it out of revenge because he’s made some mistakes while she was growing up ? That’s what I don’t understand . So the way he was talking about this whole situation I wasn’t getting any vibes that he molested his grandchild at all . although in my mind I was assuming the husband was molesting their child instead to say the least . I was starting to feel his pain especially after the results read that he didn’t molest his grandchild and the fact that his daughter coached her child . False accusations and lying to the police about child molestation, child abuse, rape, etc. should be a felony and punishable by the same sentence the accused faces.
