How to appoint a director in a company | How to file Form DIR 12 on V3 MCA
In this video, I will show you how to appoint a director in a company and how to file Form DIR 12 on the V3 MCA portal.
Appointment of a director
To appoint a director in a company, you will need to follow these steps:
Obtain a Director Identification Number (DIN) from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
Get the consent of the proposed director to act as a director of the company.
Pass a resolution at a board meeting of the company appointing the proposed director.
File Form DIR 12 with the MCA within 30 days of the appointment of the director.
Filing Form DIR 12
To file Form DIR 12, you will need to follow these steps:
Go to the MCA V3 portal.
Click on the "Forms" tab.
Select "Form DIR 12".
Fill in the form with the required details.
Upload the required documents.
Digitally sign the form.
Submit the form.
