The spirit of Midnight has taken up residence in this cat Todd. I am convinced that this has happened at this time for reasons that we will never understand. This is just the greatest news as I am still hurting from our tragic loss. Crimson Glory are back! Thank you Jon for posting these songs as a taste of things to come. Cant wait for new album.
Todd is technically a great vocalist with an impressive range but Midnight's vibrato, phrasing, and emotional intensity gave a depth and impact to his vocals that few if any can equal. This is not to slight Todd, only to stress how unique Midnight's talent really was. He had a way of making the audience feel the song, not just hear it. That's a rare talent that can't be taught and few possess. The late jazz legend Billie Holiday had a similar haunting quality to her voice albeit with an entirely different style. Its tragic that both of them were gone far too soon.
I wanted to take a moment to personally say hello and to thank our all our fans around the world - both old and new - for your loyalty, patience, and support of our music over the years. We feel Todd La Torre is an amazing singer; the perfect person to continue our legacy for many years to come. I know in my heart Midnight is smiling on us and is pleased with our selection of Todd as our new lead vocalist. Continued...

Love tosee you all here in the Quad Cities or Des moines I met Midnight in 88 in largo florida as he was recordiing Christmas songs singing and playing a 12 string RIP Long live CG Midnight and Dio
This singer is amazing, but, at times, I can hear Midnight mixed under his voice on these recordings (this one, In Dark Places etc.). Either way, all that counts is live live live! Good luck to all of Crimson and I will buy a ticket if you guys come to the North West!
