As a fan of rock as well, I got goosebumps when that guitar slid through. I also felt something hearing her opening up about her mental health. People overlooked throughout the drama that this is a human being. Lost her mama, been bullied by the world for years, now cheated on. She's a strong woman to even still be soldiering through.

It is a literal paradox to be both vulnerable and strong at the same time. Either she feels no shame in her degeneracy and takes full pride in it, or she realizes she is a victim of her sinful life style but is finding it difficult to escape (due to how profitable and pleasurable it is). I really like how she poured all of her anxiety depression and trials into this song the video is steeped in metaphors. The whole vibe of this gives off someone who’s overcoming their situation but first acknowledging that there are problems in the first place which is vital to recovery. I’m proud of her and happy for her as well as impressed at how she continues to go through these storms and be open with us about it. I love it and I pray that she continues to motivate and overcome.

As someone who has struggled with crippling anxiety and depression all my life, it’s honestly so refreshing to see someone like Meg, who’s seemingly on top of the world, be so vulnerable about her own struggles with mental health. You are not alone! I fought a hard battle in 2019 with my deep depression. If I can do it, you can do it. Therapy and anti-depressants really helped me. I thought of them as tools not crutches. Maybe it can help you too? I no longer need medication but i know if i ever got depressed again i could use it again to help fight the battle. But everyone has their own preferences so no pressure! I'm rooting for you despite not knowing you. ❤

Losing her parents, an undeserved hate-train, female rap beef that she NEVER wanted, had to cut off fake friends & 2 exes, label issues, on top of that getting shot at. NO human being should go through this much when they're supposed to be living the happiest times of their lives. Megan deserved better. 🙏

I had the same thought. I'll be honest I saw "new mts video" and thought "oh good sex" and clicked, I wasn't expecting this.
I have to say, I'm not really an up to date rap fan...I came over after hearing the song ft. Spiritbox...that being said, this video is fantastic. I have to be honest, I think I prefer this version. I'm a huge Spiritbox fan, but the song feels way more dark in their version. This was more affirmation, I've shed my shit and come out the other side...and I really enjoyed that...
