I love using these videos to break a log jam once i’ve gotten as far as I can on my own. Then, I just pause when I feel like I can continue on for a bit. Really helps with smoothing out the most frustrating parts without just spoiling everything.
I sometimes struggle with Saturday puzzles and end up having to look up a thing or two. But I finished this one slightly faster than average and managed to figure everything out.
I think the ATLAS clue, despite describing the bone, is meant to suggest the myth of Atlas holding up the world. I assume this is how the bone got its name as well.
This channel is really sharpening my skills, I think. This is the first Saturday I've completed, and hearing Chris call it "tough" is quite the ego boost.
This is actually five hard “minis” … little connection between the four corners and the middle. I got lulled into a sense of control when the northwest filled quickly.
Yes, it’s a thing. Goat yoga is a form of yoga that involves practicing yoga in the presence of playful baby goats. This unique form of yoga has gained popularity in recent years allegedly due to the numerous benefits it offers. One of the main benefits of goat yoga reportedly is its ability to promote relaxation and reduce stress levels.
I've actually seen that He's a heck of a lot better at crosswords than I am, not trying to make it sound otherwise but the battlescars, samesies, mii chain was driving me craaaazy for so long lol
Mainly it's the SE quadrant that gave me problems due to the overuse of slang that I'm not really getting exposed to. Last Across clue I can find some humor in. 38D I was going to insert SLEAZO, but realize it's CREEPO. Then I could get 37D once and for all. But as for the rest of this puzzle, I could handle it quite well. And as for the Saturday Stumper puzzle, I have to really look for a TOEHOLD or two to start making progress. And that's how I'm going to manage to solve the puzzle with a low or no error rate.

"if" statements do not need to be accompanied by an "else", but they can be.
"It is goat yoga! I wonder what that means."
Well, exactly what it sounds like.
Pretty tough, even for Saturday.
