Red Bull athlete Ruben Lenten is an extreme kiteboarder, always searching for the biggest storms around the world.
After a disappointing trip to Ireland, Ruben heads back to the homeland where one of the year's fiercest storms is about to hit the coast of Holland, and Ruben is more than ready for it.

alright everyone, to set things straight.
The second spot ruben is kiteboarding at is in "Wijk aan zee, Noord-Holland, Netherlands" next to the Aloha restaurant. Ruben is born in Noordwijk, also a good kitespot, but not the one in this movie.
so now everyone can just stop arguing each other and just enjoy these awesome moves of ruben len10.

Yes,you are totally wrong! The big ferry you see is the ferry from Newcastle to IJmuiden, next to this place is Wijk aan Zee.
And Holland or the Netherlands it does'nt matter, you can use both names.

@kristofvanzeir nope there are two regions at the coast which are called south holland and north holland. those two regions together are called holland. but the netherlands include beside north and south holland also some other regions. if you dont trust me google it.

The region he's from is called "Noord-Holland", which is where Noordwijk is...hence it's acceptable to call it Holland. And the are where it seems he's boarding (due to the massive cruise ships in the background) seems to be around Rotterdam Port, which is in "Zuid-Holland"...thus once more, acceptable to call it Holland. Just putting it out there.
