XA GTX force mid boot is my weekend indoor usage. It's the perfect one because of heat release and good grip of concrete surfaces of indoor airsoft building. One bad is that you gotta break it. This boot took about 5 days all day wear to loosen it for your feet to feel comfortable. 1st 3 days hurt my bottom and ankle. Where foot touched the boot. I guess nothing is free. You gotta work it 2 achieve it.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But results are perfect look, feel, cool, and good grip of ground. I like this for my hobby. 👍
The biggest difference between those 2 is : On the xa forces mid ( GTX ) there is a piece of plastic on the middle of the interior side of the shoe which is useful for exemple if you need to climb ropes. This piece of plastic allows you to avoid burn marks on the interior side of your feet.
As a super ultra light weight minimal cushion shoe designed for quick in and out operations. Not exactly good for long day wear as the outsole is incredibly thin. It's a super flexible shoe.
Worst Salomon boots I've owned. I prefer usual salomon x ultra's for Special Forces work, or XA pro. XA FORCES are too much cushioned, takes AGES to dry, not as confortable and good performance as x ultras or XA pro. They might last longer, yes, but they're more expensive and definitelly worst in performance for my personal experience.
I need a pair of these when I raid my fridge

Been wearing these for awhile truck driving. Super comfortable and durable.
Salomon's Quest are the sturdiest and the most used by special forces . They are real boots . The models shown are more like performance runners .

These are also great for wearing everyday. I wear them anytime I have pants on. I wear Salomon tennis shoes when I wear shorts.
i love the quick laces so much
The only downside is the black laces on brown boots I get smoked by my leadership at least once a month for that. Otherwise it’s a solid boot
Can’t you just buy coyote laces ?
nah it uses the proprietary quick lace system. its enclosed and cant be removed. And saloman doesnt sell any quick lace kits in brown.@@Eirik_Bloodaxe
Please, give advice about tactical Salomon for winter? Tundra or something else?
Salomon Forces XA Pro Mid / XA Forces Mid GTX what is the difference between 2 boots ?
