Why under £700? To us this is a much more reasonable amount for people who are new to the world of inflatable kayaks to be spending initially. You can definitely get some amazing kayaks for over this amount that are well worth it, but for this review we chose to look at the more entry-level range, and there are some great picks!

Dont take this as an exhaustive list.
A lot of kayaks have been ignored and this selection is very simplistic. Theres much better out there for not much more.

I have the razor R1, have to say of all the inflatable kayaks I have owned this is the most superb for an enjoyable day on the water, I personally think it's worth the extra money to take that next step, I can happily paddle for a lot longer with less effort

Con fully recommend the X500. If it is too unstable for you try gluing a detachable SUP fin onto it. Works great and makes it more stable and not noticeably slower

Fair comment on the Advanced Frame being harder to dry, but you don't have to wait for it to dry before you can leave. Towel it, get it home and lay it out in the garden. Does the job perfectly.

I have the itiwit yellow x100, it's really quick to dry , just wipe with towel

I own a x500 and it's one of the best inflatable kayaks I can imagine. It does offer quiet a bit for the price, is portable and can be used in a variety of conditions while still maintaining a good mobility on the water which does almost compare to hard shell kayaks.

There's quite a few brands you've not listed here, as well as the two very popular types right now.
The two types being, fully dropstitch and hybrid.
Popular brands being Bluewave, Story, (I've had both) aqua spirit and Aqua Marina.
There's a few others in that style and price range that are really good.

The x500 is 650 as of June 2023 right now, jump on it. I have a v1 but if you prefer stability get the improved v2 with flatter keel

I think you are a bit confused about the Itiwit Touring/100. Your picture is of the x100, not the touring 100. The touring doesn't have a drop stitch floor and is double skinned. The X100 is single skinned, so dries really quickly, has pressure relief valves so won't over inflate and has a drop stitch floor.

Good day, Your review of inflatable kayaks is the best I have ever seen on the internet. Well done! Peter (my previously owned inflatable kayaks: Sevylor Tahiti, Sevylor Colorado, and Innova (Gumotex) Twist 2).

Huge pruce difference between the cheapest & most expensive.
Theres bound to be big differences.
Better to pick 8 in a much narrower price range.

Ah, I was looking at the 2 person one. Yeah, they look good.
To be honest, the dropstitch and hybrids are much of a muchness in quality and design since they're all made in the same 4 or 5 factories.
