It is so lovely to see such a highly professional and dedicated pilot give a walk around tour of the 747-400 and to hear him speak about his background, family life, and his service in the Israeli Air Force prior to joining El Al. While I regret not having had the chance to fly the 747 and 767 aircraft with El Al, I very much look forward to experiencing the 787 Dreamliner and 777 aircraft with El Al in the near future! I am already planning my first trip to Israel with great excitement. I really feal that El Al is indeed more than just an ordinary airline, because it truly embodies the heart and spirit of Israel. Here in America I take every chance I get to see El Al 787 Dreamliners coming and going in their beautiful livery!

What will happen when to the First Officer, Mr. Cohen, when the 747 is retired from El Al? Will he, and other 747 pilots, switch to the 777 or to the new 787 that El Al has ordered?
I flew El Al, and it was one of the best inflight experiences I have ever had. The staff were an absolute delight going and especially on my return flight!!! Tov El Al! Toda-Raba!!!
