      @@murtithinker7660 ...thanks I needed to hear that. And have always had a deep uncomfortable feeling about going there. However, I do love Africa, the wild life like the Elephants, etc. just a fantasy I would say.

    I thank you for this video. It is tje only one that i have seen that acknowledge the spirituality of pre-invaded African. I was brought up as a roman catholic. We have three gods but the understanding is that they are three gods in one god. From that belief, we are supposed to be monotheistic.
    I am not an expert on any african spirituality but i know of very few. None of them that i know have more than one god.
    For example the Yoruba have Olodumare only. He is not split into more like the christians do.
    However like the christians who have helpers like the angels and saints, Olodumare have helpers in the spiritualism.

      That is entirely possible. What you need to do is get on the airplane and fly to Ouagadougou and visit these people. They will be very glad to see you, and they will treat you like a king. You will go to the market and buy a few goats, some millet, some spices, and you will give it to the ladies in the village. They will make a wonderful feast for the entire village and you will be the guest of honor. How does that sound?

      Hey man, I'm a musician and I love Mossi music & culture. I'd love to get my hands on a Kora one day. How cheap is it to travel there- to eat and sleep and such? How safe is it?

    • @ChristopherRoyJamesCook1768
      @ChristopherRoyJamesCook1768  7 років тому +1

      It is expensive ($2500) to get there if you buy your ticket in the US. If you fly to PAris and buy your ticket to Ouaga there it is much cheaper. Living there can be very cheap if you can deal with a lack of creature comforts. There are lots of people there who would love to sell you a cora.

    Christophe Roy you are being desingenous and misleading when you claim that the diviners are talking so-called GOD. Traditional African beliefs do not practice monotheism. Instead they practice ancestors worship and acknowledged several divinities. Therefore the divinations are not adress to so called GOD as understood in judeo-christian and islamic beliefs .

      They are monotheistic, but they have a different World view than the Abrahamic traditions do. Who said the Abrahamic point of view is the be all end all standard against which every other tradition has to be measured?

      God does not exist anyway. Maybe the video is just parody. Just like the Bible and Koran are parodies.
