Random thing to notice: the info changed and David’s eyes don’t shine when he salutes the flag anymore
Even before the criminal started changing his demands the fact that David didn’t do anything himself was a huge red flag. The man literally tackled Daniel when he was armed with a knife about to kill Max with no hesitation but he DOESN’T do anything when someone’s holding the campers at gun point? Yeeeeaaaah.
Why does no one ever point out that Max knew that it was a fake gun, meaning that he knows what a real gun looks like, meaning that this poor kid probably has a bad life at home other than the fact that his parents don't care about him. This is why David needs to adopt Max asap
Well because he knows how to use a credit card, and a phone, so he probably knows what guns are from the internet.
I mean a lot of people know what an actual gun looks like and what a lot of guns are specifically called alone from video games and the internet. he doesn't have to have had a life threatening gun situation at home for that.
I'd still like to see his parents at some point though (seeing how max is very manipulative and smart it would be interesting to see what kind of people it takes for him to be scared enough to shut up and do what they say.
Fun fact: toy guns are always marked with an orange or red dot or some colorful attachment so parents and kids can easily tell the difference
