Hello everyone and welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! Today, the soon-to-be Lich-Lord Kel'Thuzad burrows the Cult's roots ever deeper in to the heart of the Eastern Kingdoms and claims the unexpected (and technically not possible?) aid of an Eternal Lord. First things first, the ninth and final denizen of the world is scouted at 15:10, a shrewd act of diplomacy is enacted at 40:36, only to be immediately overwritten by silliness at 56:18, and finally the Call of Shadow reaches to the ears of the Demon Meme-Lord at 1:07:19. I do think this is an unintended interaction, but how can I say no to Blint-on-Blint violence? Next time, the Rite of Great Transformation shall take place, and Kel'Thuzad shall proudly wear his title of Lich-Lord -- thanks for watching!
Kel'thuzad turning to good and using his necrotic powers for bettering the world really would be a split in the timeline lmao

Honestly, not that strange use of necromancy. Personally used it in both writing and RP/DM stuff before. Better for the dead to rise in defence of the living, than the latter to suffer and die.

1:07:19 It appeared that the Blint multiverse has collided. Congratulation Fableheim, for the joke has gone further than most would expect. Let us now see how the crusader would react to his evil twin's existence (that joke really do wright itself after all). Out of all of the Blints we have been introduced, it have to be these two whom met.
Screw the Cult of Eternity, Blint on Blint violence is the new main attraction.
3:30 Always add all hereos around to capture the ancient wonder, exp wise and power wise, any hero is always better than any unitu you have.
It would be fun to have a blint-verse campaign someday. 9 blints in a free-for-all to see who is the ultimate blint.
Starting with this playthrough, the Blint variants will start becoming more varied in preparation for that memetastic day. (:

Finally got this game for myself, and I spent my first 2 hours just messing with the characetr creator. Ended up playing my first run as The Silent from Slay the Spire. Was super fun, and I'm honestly excited to make more themed runs to enjoy.
Welcome to the glory, themed runs are the best way to play in my opinion!
If you want to spend even more time in faction creator, I would highly recommend looking in to the C4U mod and Age of Fashion mod. (:
@@Fableheim So far I haven't made enough related custom factions to do a fully themed playthrough, but going in with a character to try and remake is so much fun. I wanna try and figure out how to make a bunch of the darkest dungeon cast for a run at some point.
Will definitely give those mods a look see, as if I need even more excuses to sit in the character creator for hours on end haha.
@@Fableheim I will say, there is a special feeling about going into a battle the auto says you lose atrociously and pulling a victory, however pyrrhic, out of it. I had two armies (Primal faction) that were already not full strength from an earlier fight, get jumped by three full stacks (Reavers), with heroes for all of them.
Auto resolve had us wiped out with only a handful of enemy units lost. I turned it into a rout. I lost both the heroes leading my armies, and walked out with less than a full stack of my own, but the only survivors on their side was one unit of spiders.

Don't you see? Blint tore himself in two! The Undersavior is his light side, and the Underdark is his dark side! He cast off his doubts, his truama, the unsavory parts of his personality and past and threw them into the darkness! Blint the Underdark is a Nowhere King-esque shadow that has come to this world and joined Kel'thuzzad to cast down the cowardly false hero that is Blint the Undersavior and rejoin with him!
This is PERFECT!

46:35 It might be blasphemous of me to mention, but... while the Scourge didn't really have anything resembling automatons... some of the Jailer's minions could be described as golem-like. Maybe, free to pursue greater heights of necromantic mastery on his own terms, this timeline's Kel'Thuzad manages to... cut out the middle-man, as it were. Could fit with the summoning theme as well, I suppose, reaching beyond the veil to tap into the realm of death.
Entirely understandable if you'd rather avoid touching on that, though.
Also... that awkward moment where Antonidas is evil and Kel'Thuzad is 'good'...
While anything regarding the events of the Shadowlands is indeed heresy, I'll probably end up twisting this in to an excuse because I need a bloody Siege project -- thanks for the idea!
I got so spoiled in the last playthrough by that Turn 30 Wizard's Tower...
Aeonus has really screwed the pooch for Antonidas to turn Evil, but it works for me!

Since you trying hard to get the vassals before everyone else why not getting the Tome of Faith for Faithful Whispers to boost allegiance?
While that would be a strategically good decision, it doesn't make sense for Kel'Thuzad's roleplay, which is more important to me for this particular campaign. (:
