Tanner, if you ever want to go storm chasing and see tornadoes, don't. You've already seen your tornado. Most people live in Kansas for decades and never see one.
But I'll take KS tornadoes over Gulf/Atlantic hurricanes and California earthquakes and Seattle tsunamis. And in KS, seems like most houses have a basement or safe room which in the likes of Oklahoma and Texas basements are rare.

@@Sarge-yh6yd Oklahoman here, no damn clue why we don’t have basements. Most houses come with storm shelters either in the garage or the back yard. I’d say 70% of Oklahomans don’t use them either. They either follow the storm or try and circle back around to the back side of it.

I live in Andover KS and was also hit by the tornado. Houses near me were flattened. I was at that same YMCA with my friend and was playing basketball. My mom came though and said the weather was strange so we left. My mom was in the Andover 1991 tornado and lost everything so she was always cautious about the weather. Thank goodness we left because the tornado hit minutes later. I am ok and glad you are too.

In early 2020, an ef3 tornado hit Nashville, TN and traveled around 70 miles all the way to Cookeville, TN. I live within the path of the tornado and it came through my city just a couple miles from my house. It killed over 50 people, destroyed countless homes and 2 schools (one of which still isn’t open), and injured a lot of people. And all this happened at around 3 am on a Tuesday morning. It’s crazy how the weather can change lives in just minutes. Good to see you are safe, Tanner! ❤️

I remember those tornadoes. I live just outside of Chattanooga and got hit by the EF3 Easter 2020 tornado. It came across the bottom of my yard and took out all 6 trees in the front yard. Only had roof damage. Me, my husband and our kids were ok but we had to stay in a hotel for a week until we got a new roof and power back. It was scary as crap being huddled in the hallway listening to stuff hit the house. It also sounds like a jet engine, not a train.

This is the first time I've heard of your channel. I have no idea what usual content you put out (but I'll Def go check it out!). I saw this as the top vid when I searched "Tornado" and since it was posted yesterday, well, here I am. Dude, you absolutely are a good hearted man. The compassion, the empathy and also wanting to not film homes at first, absolutely means so much. Some other channels would not like 'make fun' of the situation per-say, but probably wouldn't have addressed it as honestly and kindly as you have. Thank you so much. ❤️
Lol now for all I know, maybe you do pranks or drive around scaring ppl by blowing a train horn out of your car 🤣. And I rofl with vids like those cuz reactions are amazingly hysterical. NGL. But I just had to drop my appreciation to you on how you addressed this - and for being safe and NOT going off to get closer to the Nader. You're absolutely right in that pro chasers have died horrific deaths. Tysm for having common sense despite having never seen a Nader up close and personal before. Sadly some would have given in to the "DUDE COME ON, LET'S! YOLO!!!"
    Def earned my sub. :)
Ps: aOooh I just looked at your vid list and count me IN. I love challenge vids! Now I'm even happier I found you!!

I was at the YMCA about 5-10 mins before it hit and I’m very thankful that I was gone and prayed for those that were still there. The drone footage at 6:07 was my coworkers house and it has not been fun for those who live in Andover. Here in Tuscaloosa,Alabama we were hit by a EF-5 tornado that destroyed the city and damage the University of Alabama. It’s been 11 years since this happened and we have stuff we need to improve the city. But lost a lot of great people, almost destroyed my school. But we do have a little what looks to be a gas station that hasn’t been touched to let us remember those that lost their lives. It is in the middle towards the University Mall. I was only 9 or 10 years old at the time.
