Great pattern, thanks - have you tried the Solarez uv resin, just started using it and it dries properly, so no need to use the alcohol rub at the end.
I like your fly a lot! It looks easy to do but comes out looking very professional and beautiful! For the one with the red eyes, did you simply color the fibers with a red marker before you glue in the eyes? Also, you said you used “craft materials,” does this mean I can use any fibers that are labeled as “craft materilas?” I’m asking this since I’m new to fly tying and I’m not sure if all craft hairs are made from the same kind of substance. If you don’t mind me asking, would you also tell me where you bought all of these materials you used to make the fly? I need to buy some fly-tying materials before I can get started at tying your fly and other flies as well! Thanks my friend for showing us your awesome fly!
Hi, thanks for your kind comments... The red spot behind the eyes comes from yarn. UNI thread in chinese red. You also could buy red eyes... The marial I used for the wings is called Craft Fur... It comes for example from the company HareLine. I buy my stuff in local shops in Hamburg and in the Internet. there is plenty of shops in the www Have a great start tying flies! And always have fun!!!
Thanks for sharing that information. Do you know if you are able to use a regular UV curing light( such as for bug bond: or other common bonding liquids) or does it have to be Wetahooks patented blue light/other manufacturers blue light? Have you ever used anything similar to Tuffleye that you’d recommend? (It’s not as cheap as bug bond, but may not do the same thing?) Plus, purchasing Tuffleye and postage prices amounts to a few quid. I live in UK. Dave
Fly Fish Hi Thank you for doing that experiment, that’s kind of you to try that. It obviously saves me the cost of the NEW blue light torch, as I have a uv light already. Now I only have to pay the price of the resin. Thanks again Dave
Moin Silvio, in diesem Fall habe ich Tuffleye von Wetahook benutzt... Gibt aber keinen Vertrieb mehr in Deutschland, soweit ich weiß. Ansonsten nehme ich die UV Kleber von Loon!
Streamers are what I fish---and tie! Love your videos!!! Please keep them coming.......Thank you.
Thank you Kevin! Will keep them going!

Thanks
Dave
Hi Dave, I used the Tuffleye glue and torch in this video... It is from Wetahook...

Hi Dave, I can confirm, that a UV light cures the Tufflye resin. I tried yesterday! Hope that helps!

Moin 😊....welche Marke ist dein UV Kleber??

What a waste of UV resin. The same affect can be achieved with E-Z Body tubing
Thanks for you comment… Everyone does as he/she wants…
Have always tight lines👍👍🏾
