Wow, what a nice looking piece of kit...
tried the sample unit in Malaysia a couple of months ago (with some pix), it is as tiny as the Garmin Mk2s; really love the matte black case!
The real cost for me opinion is 550€ not more , Mares I know enginers woorking hard for this , this is like" first Tec computer for people " this price for one computer with this caracthers is to much , good job enginers !!

799 euros. I am wondering where in the market Mares try to get this watch in. The price is on the steep side for beginner rec divers and TEC divers got their fix with shearwater computers. For people who do more sports than only diving the gap is already filled by Garmin and Apple is in this market as well. Typical mares.

What about when battery replacement is needed 'cause of life cycle?
You will have to give it to a repair center. They inspect it and change the battery (which is usually part of such inspections). The reason is that after the inspection it is tested again for its full rating und functionality. So only certified centers get access to the parts.

Why only 500 charge cycles? So If I wear this as my daily watch, at best I will get 2 years before the battery is not able to rechange? Seems Stange

Each year has 52 weeks..... so you'd only need to change every ~10 years
