Subscribing to your channel has been one of my poorer financial decision these past months, however for some reason I don't regret doing so at all! Love the content!
My experiments say: Placing asteroid storage nets in front of the tractor beam prevent the tractor beam from ramming asteroids into itself.
Playing this game, my droids commited suicide by building my useless airlock first instead of the fuel cells they needed for power.
You need a drone dedicated to each mining laser, set the mining lasers two squares away outside the Catchment Area (yellow belt next to the red Danger Area) along the entire legnth of the station, in front of that, still outside the yellow area, along the complete side of the station and set two rows of catchment nets inside the yellow belt along the whole length.
It may have helped things if Nook had built storage spots for anything other than metal..
I confess, I didn't watch the whole video and hopped around instead so I don't know if you ever found the spanner ( ~ 6:30) or, translating English into American, the wrench icon just beside your right elbow. There are many games that I have been introduced to thanks to you, so, erm, thank you!
Yeah, we pointed that out in chat, and it just opens the build menu which he had already done. What he WANTED (and eventually found) was that once you click on an object, in the upper right of the pop-up for it there is a tiny spanner icon--click THAT one to force a repair on it.

@@Nookrium My deep apologies. Fell into a rabbit hole about "Dumb Americans" and their reactions to the wide world outside of the States which coloured my comment when I should have known better. I'm glad you thought my stupidity was funny though. Cheers!
I'll be updating some of the wording in the tutorial in my next update. Very useful watching other people play, and you find out what you've written isn't that clear! 😅
You also spotted trader ship not aligning correctly with airlocks and tractor beams pulling in asteroids when in construction. Fixed and also will be in next update. Thanks for playing!😃
