@norkator Any news about this? I have similar problem, I removed the EGR and the Intake manifold (it was very dirty) cline up everything, vacuum checked ok. The engine started working better but the idle is disaster still shaking when worms up. Can you post a picture of the plate with 9mm hole. Thanks
Looks like this: c1552172.ssl.cf0.rackcdn.com/548123_x800.jpg Do you have VCDS to check for troubles at module level? And as an update; mine still has not hesitated at all after installing this plate. Has worked like new.
@@norkator I took my car to official VW service 2y ago for this issue they made all checks but nothing was found (suggestion maybe flywheel). Since then i drove 20k km with no issues and only happens when warms up. I done carbon clean and injector purge even i changed all engine mounts, only left is this egr plate. On which side should be installed? Next to the egr or on the other side of the pipe? Could be cam misaligment ?
@@maznevski5 Other end of the pipe (on EGR cooler side). I installed next to EGR but it caused annoying sound to happen (was not leaking), after installing it on the other end it worked as it should. "Could be cam misaligment ?" I am not car mechanic so I cannot really say anything to this.
cams missalignment..... you have to do a camsbelt change with the accesories, and after that the value on grup 4 toursion have to be --2.5, and at grup 1 injection quantity4.8-5.2............now you have --1 at toursion and 6.9 at injection quantity, i think your fuel consumption is high, and smoke at high revs
I can say fuel consumption has not get any higher and there's no black smoke coming even when flooring the throttle amount of black smoke is not alarming. I tend to floor it time to time to keep it cleaner. Problem is that this cars timing belt (is camsbelt right since I don't find any other belts?) is changed one year ago by VW specialist. Maybe he didn't do proper timing (this problem was around before that) this same specialist looked the hesitation problem but didn't find anything wrong. Maybe he changed belt but didn't do timing via looking for example VCDS timing belt related measuring blocks etc. Small edit: I try putting camera behind car and flooring it to the red line... then I can really see is there much smoke coming. I do this ofc with warmed up engine.
This car is now driven 135k kilometers at this moment and still no hesitation problems, has been working perfectly. Only thing that happened moment ago was that camshaft position sensor broke. Cables were fine so I bought OEM sensor, expensive but worth it. Camshaft position sensor caused very hard starting from warm engine. At cold engine, started normally. Changing this part was very hard because of it's positioning under timing belt.
Still no problems after part 028131547B running perfectly. I currently have other problem which is dead cylinder 1 glow plug which I am going to change soon... all four at same time because need to take apart cylinder head cover which seems to same time break it's gasket so going to replace that too.
Great news! Thats straight forword job. I have problem with power loss, DPF light is on and no power like I dont have turbo at all. Did torsion value adjusted only got rid of smoky idle still no power! Thinking might be injector seals or turbo actuator
@@dariolinoo We have one Audi A4 which has maybe same problem than you have? because it's in limp mode which limits rews, no power and so on. Problem in this car is that it's catalytic converter is swapped to new and also DPF was changed later. We cannot get this car into burning soot mode which raises exhaust gas temperature a lot, this process can be done while driving and on standstill using VCDS security section (forced mode) "regeneration while standing", whole process was called "regeration" anyways in this car Soot measured value is 50grams and Soot calculated is 48 grams which is too high so these processes are aborted by safety reasons. Here's good video about regeration process: ua-cam.com/video/O-sT6KqEpPg/v-deo.html maybe it is same with your case?
What possible problem that translates to? injectors? I can still say that after installing choking plate on egr system there has not been any problems.

the timing belt has to adjust manualy and verify with vcds.....it needs vw special tools
I have to ask where did you get this -2.5 information since seems like it should be with this engine exact 0
the ecu is eds 16, and the value is -2.5, at eds 15 is 0.....ask at the vw from your country
Thanks, this extra information is good. I can ask someone appropriate to do timing right.
Problem has not occurred ever since installed VW OEM product code 028131547B part on to the EGR system.

Did that Broken camsaftsensor still send any information to the ecu?
Any updates??

injection quantity big 4.7 5.2 max

injection quantity is big consumation 0.80l idle ... asjustment timming belt torsion value -2.5 iq 4.7 5.2 max 😁
Hmm.. since you and nosphy are saying the same thing. I take note of this and ask doing timing belt adjustment on next annual maintenance.
