    I see alot of people saying that this machine is not for them without actually trying the machine and watching one video. I have personally purchased this machine and the variety is amazing and definitely feel like it is underrated

    Just a piece of advice: milk can make a whole lot of difference. In the best Italian bars and cafeterias where cappuccino is a must, they use UHT milk without lactose. Starbucks use another type of milk.
    In some recipes I’d rather use cream instead of whole milk.
    Water is another thing to keep in mind when we talk about flavour.
    Last but certainly not least the right capsule for each recipe. Do not use espresso capsules for long coffee and viceversa.
    All in all the Atelier machine is good, imho. It’s versatile and it allows to have different things without messing around in the kitchen and easy to clean!

    Also, might be worth while showing the whisk working in a glass with no milk, maybe use cold water to let people see it working but also capture on video how it works, I assume it sends steam through the whisk end to heat the milk so it's a kind of double action whisk and steam?

      A2B Productions Agreed, good as an idea, but in practice it doesn’t really look like it performs to expectations, I mean if you’re going to buy a machine like this you’ll probably be quite used to making coffees using other Nespresso products. Hence the disappointment.

    Time will tell on the state of the whisk, I wonder if perhaps melting the chocolate in the microwave or crushing the ice might help keep the whisk in a better condition. Thanks for these and I look forward to hearing both you and your wife’s thoughts.

      Yeah when you compare the whisk to the big substantial thing in the Barista recipe maker you do wonder whether it will stand up over the long term. Will try and bring a few more points out in the review.

    Hello. Thanks for the video once again. Love it. I’m still in doubt what to buy :) May I ask you for an advice please? Just your opinion as you’ve used all of these machines. I’m thinking about 3 options, but don’t know what to chose. 1) I really like Atelier, as Atelier has everything (I can make coffee + I can make hot chocolate, mocca etc) and I don’t need Barista maker with it. Then in comments o saw people and you don’t really like atelier as far as I understood as it a bit complicated. 2) Then I stared to think about Creatista plus or pro but 1st they a bit pricey and 2nd I still need in addition to buy Barista maker in order to be able to make everything. 3) then as creatista a bit pricey I’m thinking to buy Barista maker for sure and one of the machines you have, like esenza mini, pixie, citiz. Main question:) what coffee machine you’d suggest me (you like the most) to buy together with Barista Maker and why exactly that machine? And another question: why do you like Creatista pro so much? And I’ve heard you love it. Really sorry for so Long question. Really appreciate your help and love your videos. If not you, I’d never new about Barista maker. Thanks a lot.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 роки тому +3

      Thanks for the comment and glad you're liking the videos 👍 This is a really tricky one to answer but I'll try 😅 1) On the Atelier being honest I wouldn't feel right recommending it as the coffees didn't taste that great to me and that's the most important thing really. 2) With the Creatistas I really think they are great machines and if budget weren't an issue then either of those machines with a Barista would probably be our ideal setup. Understand that's an expensive option, though! It's also worth watching the Aeroccino 3 vs Aeroccino 4 vs Barista Maker video we did before buying, as it shows the difference in the froth they create. 3) Out of the mini, the pixie and the citiz my wife and I both still prefer the Citiz. The last one I had was still going strong after 5 years, only upgraded as started hearing a few funny noises and wanted a different colour. The Mini provides great value but for our family the water tank and used capsule holder are just too small and need changing too often. The pixie is good too but it's loud and I prefer the lever on the citiz rather than the handle to put the pods in and just prefer the look of it. That's just personal taste though isn't it. 4) The Creatista Pro. I got it half price on offer and would probably never have paid full price for it but I am quite stingy 😂 I just love the froth quality and the touch screen on the machine. The coffee options are great and you can also set your own personal drink options and it stores them, so you can just press your name in the morning and it'll make your favourite coffee. I also like that it's bigger then the plus so more room to put the jug and glass on at the same time. It also brews the coffee and the milk at the same time which can save a bit of time, the plus does them separately. The plus is a really good machine, though, and does 90% of what the pro does, it's just a bit less fancy with not having the touch screen etc. Hope this helps!

      A2B Productions Thanks a lot for the honest and so detailed explanation. Yeah, Creatista a bit pricey and I don’t really want to spend on it this amount of money. So what I’m thinking and I hope you’ll approve my choice 😅: I think Citiz and Barista maker should work perfectly. Don’t really know the difference between Citiz and Creatista, apart of It could do different type of coffees at Creatista but at the same time Citiz can pour same coffee + barista maker together could do a good job and could do all different type of coffees too. Am I right? 😅 At least I’m thinking so 😂

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 роки тому +2

      Yeah by the sounds of it that combo should work well for you. The main difference with the Creatista vs Barista Maker is that you can control the froth level much better with the Creatista but we genuinely love the mochas, hot chocolates, flat whites etc from the Barista maker too. The one thing the barista seems to lack is the ability to create that really thick airy froth that the aeroccinos do, but then my wife doesn't like that froth anyway as thinks it's too airy. When it comes to the difference between the Citiz and Creatista they do pretty much brew the same coffee. I only say pretty much as I just taste tested them side by side and if anything I felt that the coffee from the Citiz was a creamier - which I like. But that might turn out different if I tried it again. The main difference is that the Creatistas come with a steam wand which mean you don't have to buy a frother and you can control the froth level. Sorry if I'm going on a bit, just get nervous when people buy stuff off the back of what I've said 😅 Hope you like your combo though, sounds like a good one 👍

      A2B Productions thank you very much once again. I feel guilty that took so much of your time. Really appreciate your answer. I think I almost decided with my combo: Citiz and barista maker. Thanks for the informative video. Great to see it in use and in a real non sales way. Nespresso are harping on how great it is and this video confirms that it’s not for me. I have the Touch and what I like about that is my milk is warm instantly and one press of a button the machine measures the milk and adds the coffee in the order needed. This seems to be more involved for a coffee. You have to measure the milk and that changes depending, then the whisk needs cleaning and drips everywhere and you’re so right about that line around the top. Lots of user involvement needed and for some we want to press the button and air back. Thanks for an honest video 👍🏼

      All just personal preference but I like the Citiz and milk out of those as I prefer the texture of the milk froth that comes out of the Aeroccino but might be worth considering a Citiz on its own so you can buy whatever frother you want - maybe an Aeroccino 4 or anything really. Not that there’s anything wrong with the Aeroccino 3 but it just opens up more options frother wise. Depends what sort of deal you can get on the Citiz and milk I guess.

    I have spent 2 months researching all the Nespresso and Dolce Gusto machines. All i can say is i have read more negative comments than good comments. I am looking for one that specifically makes good lattes as my gf loves them from costa so the only good pod machine i believe to serve this purpose is the Bosch My Way 2. So if she doesn't like the way the Bosch makes it with the milk capsules i can get a milk frother wand for £30 and she can do the milk herself then add the costa coffee pod into the milk. A wand is better because all these electric milk frothers does not allow more than 120ml of milk like the areoccino. So od lf she wanted a normal 330ml or a large 480ml latte, this would not be possible with the electric frorher. In the future if she wants to explore flavored coffee then the vurteo would be th3 best option. But it does get expensive. And u cannot get a mixed bundle of pods from nespresso. I think the whole nespresso game can get expensive then there's the hassle of disposing the empty pods and organizing collections.

  • @hspinder

    Curious: if I'd make a lungo or an espresso, so coffee without milk, is there a way to raise the cup(holder)?
    It seems to me when I put a small cup in the same position as I would for a latte, the coffee has to drop from quit a distance and will cool too fast...

    As this whisk is basically the same as the aeroccino Have you ever tired putting the Nespresso chocolates in your aeroccino 4? And then pouring over an espresso to make a mocha or is this not advised 🤣? X

    • @KennethPaul
      @KennethPaul 4 роки тому +1

      Probably not advised but would work to some extent. Think this works, as does the barista, since they have variable speed motors and the barista has a wider sliding whisk. With chocolates in they would sink to the bottom of the aeroccino 3/4 and since the heating element is in the base of those two ,and not enough whisk action to keep the chocolate off the base, it may just melt and burn to the bottom.
      If I was to try it I would do it in an aeroccino 4 and use the highest froth option, that way you get maximum momentum of the solid pieces of chocolate.
