Man, I would have never miss a lecture of hers.
I've already watched these years ago. I'm glad to see the views going up.

It's so great having these lectures... it's also great not to have to do the coursework, lol.

I still get so pissed off when students are rude and start packing up and leaving before the professor is done talking.

don't worry, it's the 1 or 2 that stay that make it worth it.

Every single one of them deserves to be processed by the Inquisition.

She is as divinely beautiful as she is masterful of her subject matter.

    pretty magical

With the caveat that some of her details are wrong, to wit
Before the orgy style image of the witch you had the trickster image who followed pagan gods and would therefore"mislead" the believer.
And the planet/ sephora interpretation may have been accurate centuries ago, but nowadays the paradigm is a combination of; layers of reality, point of view and state of being. (Or, that's my memory, I haven't touched Hermetic magic in years.)

    Two office hours a week-impressive!
One hour on Tuesday, on hour on Thursday, or by appointment (good luck). So much for access to the Phd..
Is there a line outside her office on both days? When the hour is up does she lock her office door and leave?

I went to another big university and it was the same way for several of my professors. One didn't even hold office hours and he refused to tell us where his office was. I was pretty offended by that. I think it's typical at large universities for the students to talk to the TAs instead of the professor since most classes are huge. Basically, the PhD just gives a lecture and the TAs handle the grading and everything else.

“If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.” - Einstein
Some of the things she says about Quantum Mechanics are almost laughable if I didn't think there were people taking her seriously.

This narrative is gripping! Science arising through alchemists attempting to redeem matter and manifest the Christian heaven? Something like that?

If i can reply on these many comments of this lecture ,generally about people who want to add totally different subjects just for fun to be heard , change topics or just to write comments, and not give a proposition of his view, to said some for others to learn, they changing the meaning of the mater in other way its nothing on purpose but i would say students from big university such as UCLA must understand they got the potential to be heard, and to spread and to hold the word from the very begging of his existence of the mater, because was the biggest mater to hold the word propely for many uses thru the ages and to make decision for yourself just by knowing the true meaning of the word ,stop stupid comments for good of one university

I'm at 47 minutes and I'm a bit confused about gnosticism's relationship with witchcraft and satanism. I need to follow up on that...

So her eyes are fixated on one spot the entire lecture and it seems like she's reading. Do professors commonly use something like a teleprompter at UCLA?

    • @Waltham1892

She's probably focused on the one student in the classroom not updating their social media accounts.

  • @fernandop1

Dear Mrs. I agree in some points, but I strongly believe you are committing serious heresy in most...if not in all of these lectures. I would have to seriously question your sources and evidence from them. i.e. The source of religion had nothing to do with your quotes in these lectures at best; nor the origin of God's existence or the belief in a deity for most cases. Nor the limits of the tricks and the difference of miracles are not well understood here neither.
    Kind regards.

  • @havabighed

Why? Surely it is better for a university professor to help us ascend in terms of education (in this case, use of academic language), rather than dumbing-down to a simpler denominator.
