And Athletic Progression :) They also have strong hiphop influences. Something else I can strongly recommend is Casimir Liberski - Cosmic Liberty (with drummer Matt Garstka). A very fresh jazz album, I thoroughly love it
Man! I love my algorithm! I been following the drummer since I Saw him on his other band MAKROHANG. This is an awesome performance, I always though he was so good.
Love it !!! It reminds me of the creative 80s where every song was a individual creative tune. Here we have a fine example of fantastic sounds and melodies.
Salut les musico, j'ai avalé par mes conduits d'oreilles une apothéose musicale de votre génie savoir faire, compétences, finesse, choix des notes ,votre jeunesse promet un avenir assuré, merci de votre transmission ondulatoire❤
I can't quite make out the pedal but it looks suspiciously like my Zoom B1x-4 but the pedal-less version. It's not but it's similar and I also say that because the Zoom has a Defret setting which will get you this sound. -Defret and bridge pickup. In this case he only has a bridge (humbucker?) pickup, so that's perfect. I also run an Ibanez into a defret so I'm familiar with this sound. There's a chorus after it too. The thumb adds a thumpy, rounded attack that sounds like a Palm Mute. And he's clearly influenced by players like Jah Wobble, et al to get that Dubby vibe. Personally I prefer to use 'the hook', because I used to play an actual fretless (B4FL for the Bass nerds - the rosewood/wenge neck).
the fact that the bass player has a pulp fiction poster behind him makes this video even cooler, so well producted!! and you guys are just amazing, much admiration from Colombia!
Zsenik vagytok srácok! Köszönjük, hogy vagytok! Tomit a Bea csapatàban láttam először. Bárhol bármit csinál az működik. Jók vagytok csak így tovább bois!
I used to listen to a lot of instrumentals and moved more towards electronic. I heard you guys and wanted more like this. I tried exploring other bands and nothing sounds as good as you guys. Keep up the good work man!
I wonder what the bass player's finger is made of? Diamond?
adamantium
it's like Wes Montgomery style, but in bass
@@mauroariascontreras9284 Good observation. Just the thumb, just like Wes used to do.

This and alfa mist. Bliss.
And Tajnic (althought slightly different subgenre). And you probably know of Yussef Dayes and Kamaal Williams
And Athletic Progression :) They also have strong hiphop influences. Something else I can strongly recommend is Casimir Liberski - Cosmic Liberty (with drummer Matt Garstka). A very fresh jazz album, I thoroughly love it
@soniccucumber6639yuseff Dayes is the best
If you like these artists, give Okvsho and Underground Canopy a listen
As a drummer, that ride cymbal sound is freaking sick
Crispy
that snare to!!
I just wish he'd put the resonance heads back on the toms.
His ride and crash are hype, those things sound awesome.
Any idea what it is?
those basslines are tassstyyy
when the bass and drums are seamlessly in sync, so effortlessly to the eyes and so full to the ears
Tighter than two coats of paint 👍
The algorithm brought me here and I am thankful
Jazz makes the world go round

Heat ! As usually Gents… 🤌
What kind of bass is that?
sounds like a fretless bass but it don't is
yeah, the thumb also adds to that
I can't quite make out the pedal but it looks suspiciously like my Zoom B1x-4 but the pedal-less version.

whoa bassist plays like I used to
super!
the fact that the bass player has a pulp fiction poster behind him makes this video even cooler, so well producted!! and you guys are just amazing, much admiration from Colombia!
The bass player doesn't strum properly and makes a lot of inconsistent noises that the producer/master mix couldn't hide
@selfactualizer2099 seems like you're the only who noticed...or the only one who cares.
Zsenik vagytok srácok! Köszönjük, hogy vagytok! Tomit a Bea csapatàban láttam először. Bárhol bármit csinál az működik.
