It's not real fights in the mosh pit, it's like passionate loving body bumping and slight pushing. Rule number one is, NO FIGHTING, rule number two is, if somebody falls or gets hurt, you pick them up and make sure they're okay, rule number 3, HAVE FUN! 🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪

i remember my first mosh pit experience, jesus i was like 14 in 2001, i was at the warped tour and i was jumping around having fun like everyone else and i slipped and my shoe came off and i hit the dirt HARD, all of a sudden i was scooped up by my arm pits but some huge dude before i got trampled. then after everything calmed down he came up to me with my shoe. fucking legend of a person

I think I'd refer to them as "acid metal". And yeah when you mosh, you may get smacked in the face and get your nose a bit bloodied, but none of it is necessarily purposeful or even aggressive, and its all in good fun. Sometimes youll get hit, and its part of the fun, but NOBODY gets hurt if people know actual mosh etiquette. The performing artists have even been known to stop midshow to make sure someone who fell or took a nasty hit are okay.
The mosh pit isn’t supposed to be other people hurting each other like yea they push each other around but every once in a while you will get that one asshole in the mosh pit that no one likes but the point of it is to have fun. Some people can handle the mosh pit and some people can’t. But it’s so much fun in my opinion
i dont know if you have been to hardcore show in philly, but that crowd is full of those assholes, 200 pounds plus just swinging at anyone lol
Random story, from a random person. This was one of the songs I’d listen to before playing basketball. Throughout the game I would sing aggressive songs in my head.. didn’t matter what genre. Sounds pretty weird, but I grew up in the late MJ era and he’d make stuff up to piss himself off. I idolized the dude and did the same, but using music as fuel.
