The animation cut that is almost identical (Haruhi turning to her bandmates compared to Song doing the same) is made by Naoko Yamada, which will direct K-On! in 2009. I live in Nicaragua. And I didn't know about this film and its music. Untill one day somebody post a picture from this film. Son and a boy both standing alone in a classroom. Somebody said this was Linda Linda Linda film and then I found it here in UA-cam. This was around 6 months ago. The day a watch this film I can say I cried but I feel so sad and nostalgic wishing come back to my school days when life was a beautiful adventure without suffering 😔
It's good that a new generation got to hear The Blue Hearts. Im glad I grew up when I did.

5:05 後ろで座って見ている人まで映している。この映画を良いと思わなくても、このシーンで感動しなくても(後ろで座って見ても)いいっていう余地が残されてる。実際この映画に御涙頂戴な演出は無く女子高生がブルーハーツをやるだけの直球勝負なのが良い。
