I will join your courses soon! I have to pass some pre- requisites for now. I think what you're doing is such a blessing, you are molding these nursing students into great RN's and not being one of those nurses that " eats their young" a big hug to you my friend! This world needs more people like you.
Hi Michael, just wanted to say a HUGE thank you. Your youtube videos helped me pass Med Surg. I went into my final today on the pass/fail line and came out with an 86 on my final and an 80 in the class (need a 78 to pass). Thank you again, you've been super. Definitely think I'm going to subscribe to your website for next semester.
You're absolutely right. I am a nurse now but I remember when I first started nursing school, I missed number 4 (100-200 nclex questions). I struggled a lot until I final figure out what I was lacking in my 2nd semester.
I wish I would've found your videos sooner! I'm literally on the pass/fail line right now in nursing school so more than less my life depends on the final on Thursday. I'm so freakin nervous I'm such a horrible test taker! And not only that but this is only my FIRST semester in nursing and It's only gonna get harder!!
It does not get harder, you just get better at it! You can do this! Don't have failure in mind when your studying; learn for comprehension and not memorization. Mike has this thing figured out, but the ability to pass is within YOU. Don't try to cram the info know your head, that doesn't work. Don't study for hours on end but TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS. Make a deal with yourself - "I will focus for 1 hour and then goof off for 15/30 minutes." I'll be praying for you!
this would have worked for me when i was in the community nursing program. I am currently enrolled in a online nursing program.and my current test covers 57 chapters infectious diseases, burns, muscloskeletal, and neuro. I have failed this test 2x and not looking forward to a 3rd. trying to have a positive attitude going in but thats a lotta stuff to know...
Yeah I have to agree, that Saunders book is very good. I pre-ordered that one and got it last October and it is my most used book by far. I will never get rid of it
That is very logical. yes. To study what our professor really focuses on and spends double or triple the amount of time on a certain topic than the other, right? Wrong. One of my teachers, this woman drives all students nuts. She would have like questions on a topic-out of 5-that we barely touched on suppose 20 marks and the total over all marks is out of like 50. smh!! miraculously I passed but that was a real close one. Hopefully my next semester isn't like her and perhaps a little more logical and wiser. Thanks for the videos! Great tips
Thank you for your amazing videos! I'm taking the nclex in 1 1/2 weeks. Do you have one that is an overview to study for it or which videos are your top recommendations?
Any help with entrance exams TEAS, HESI?? I am avoiding appllying to schools that require these exams because I am a horriblle test taker. I literally sweat and have heart palpations!!!
Hi mike .. is ur NCLEx review applicable for PN graduate from canada..Our program is 2yrs diploma and scope of practice is broad...CPNRE is coming in 3mos.. looking for the best study tools..thanks..
I failed pharmacology, I got a 61%... I didn't have enough time to finish the test. Luckily I got approved for a supplemental test this monday. Wish I saw your video sooner.
Micheal, I need your help.. I have taken my RN NCLEX once already and failed. I am going to use your 4 step plan but are you talking about your videos on this channel? And I want to ask what you think about the Hurst Review or the ATI Review information? Thank You!
I am currently in a nursing program in Louisiana, and I'm at the verge of failing Meg-Surg I with a 70%, i really need to pass this class, what do you suggest I do? I think I don't understand the "question" aspect of it. I have two more test and a final.
