About 4 years ago I finally got my life on track, I had been sober for over 2 years, gained respect by the people around me, began to enjoy life for the first time. But I didn't have a career or job even. I stayed in the program I was in. Waiting, without a clue what I was going to do, I prayed and stayed in God's word, angst and fear were gone. I am now in my 4th year of my apprenticeship for becoming a pipefitter and HVAC tech, and the only time I have fear or angst, when I am going against God's will. Stay in the word, stayed prayed up, stay hard

This spoke to me, I’ve been wanting to trust God for soo long, but the truth is I’ve been hurt and lied too soo much that I believe the spirit of fear dwells within me, alongside the spirit of sabotage and addiction. Please pray for me that I will be delivered in Jesus’s name. And thank you
Jesus, I needed to hear this word today. Lord, please help me fully trust you in all situations in all ways. Not just today, but every single day for the rest of my life and beyond to eternity. You are a trust worthy God and I repent for not loving you, myself or others properly. I confess I was trying to protect myself from pain because I didn’t believe you had my back because of all the pain I’ve experienced in this life that’s hurt me so deeply. I’ve felt abandoned, rejected and not good enough. Those feelings are lies from the pit of hell though … Please forgive me Lord and help me to draw nearer to you. I tried to become my own savior and that for others too , instead of allowing you to be our Savior. That’s the only reason you came and I negated your power and made it of no effect with my distrust of you. I confess and repent. Please Lord , I open up my life, heart and will to you. I wear a cross around my neck that has the verse ISA. 41:10 on it, the verse says "Fear thou not, for I am with thee." It's a constant reminder that I have no reason to be scared, because if God is really with me, then he can get me through anything.
