    So glad he decided that if he wants to be that guy his best chance is to grind it out in Boston. We almost lost him, but now he's unleashed the version he envisioned for himself elsewhere. His sacrifice is coming off the bench.

    If Pritchard played on the Hornets he'd average 28 a game probably

    I’m gonna call it here and now, PP will be responsible for at least 2 “must win” Celtics playoff games and half of a finals game.
    He’s truly embraced his role and I won’t lie until this season I questioned picking Payton over Desmond Bane but I feel Payton has taken on Smarts dog hounding and relentlessness on defence and is a more confident offensive player than what I’ve come to expect.

    i said it last year, when they get rid of Brogdon and Smart he'd flourish. Way less of PG cycling between 4 PG's (White included), i'm glad he stayed with boston and showed why he was a much better second rotation than Brogdon was

    His game reminds me so much of young Jason kidd on the mavs, even down to the buzzcut. Just insanely quick

    I doubt any bench players in NBA can score 90 pts in higher level pro-ams like PP did. He's fully unleashed playing PG role this yr without the log jam with Brogdon / Smart / White & the lack of PG play & young player development under Udoka. I think Udoka is really not as good as he appears to be, as he rarely had any ATO scoring & he used the 2 Js to much to the point is highly predictable.

      Yes regular minutes is the key and now he's passing much better this year like a real point guard.

      Here for the Udoka slander. Idk if I fully agree but he gets treated like a god when Mazzulla is clearly the better coach.

      @@frome5000 The one thing I miss from Ime was that mental toughness but Joe letting the starting 5(or 6 or 7) play in uncomfortable situations has sort of been making up for that.

      @frome5000 4 місяці тому

      @@BleepyBloopy772 the thing is Mazzulla’s teams have been way tougher mentally than Udoka’s, whether you’re talking consistency or blown leads, Mazzulla has the much better track record. We forget just how frustrating that season was.

      @@frome5000 their attitude is what has been keeping them from being unstoppable. They could have reached 70 games easily but they were games where they just let go. 60 games is great but they could have been better.

    Would've dropped at least 40 if he had played in the 4th quarter.
