Alina Leznik definitely has that angelic quality to her voice like Sarah Brightman had in the Broadway performances. She and Dan sound amazing together. They also did Beauty and the Beast together.

I had to come and watch again, because...just because. ;-) One thing that always makes the whole thing even MORE amazing to me, every time I watch it, is that they are not in the same room watching each other or reacting in person, in any way. They are completely alone at their own microphones, then the files combined, edited, and mastered. To me, it's beautiful that both of them can emote like they do, even when not face-to-face.
Oh...also...they do a GREAT Beauty and the Beast video together, as well.

Just a costume change between the Phantom and Raul. Dan could knock both parts out of the park with no problem at all. It really doesn't matter what he does, it's stellar in every way.
I love when you said, "This is a song that will make you feel". Yes it does! You can absolutely feel the power in love that Dan and Alina wanted us to feel throughout this cover. I find myself moving into a different sphere whenever I listen to it. They bring me into their world ... my soul can feel theirs. And that deep, slow vibrato ... no words! Such a lovely reaction to such a beautiful song. Both Sarah Brightman and Alina Lesnik are sopranos yet Alina has a much sweeter, less piercing tone which makes her far more enjoyable to listen to,,, don't get me wrong, Ms Brightman is lovely but I think I prefer Alina. With Daniel's beautiful rich tones, they are stunning together, almost as if made for each other... I would love to see them onstage together at some point, it would be breathtaking...

Until tonight I had only seen your reactions to Pentatonix and Home Free. You have become my favorite reactor because of the raw emotion that you show so clearly. I decided tonight to start checking out some of the other artists you've reacted to. I'm so glad I started with this one. I love Phantom and I agree that Dan performance is superior to the original.
Now in order to start crying again: Think about if they sang "Path of no return" together.... will need a third singer though.
Also thanks for breaking the stereotype that "hard metal dudes have no culture". The Phantom of the Opera is by far my favorite musical of all time.
