In this latest film I noticed she was using nails. In previous builds, jungle vines were used to bind it all together, not a good choice as they rust in the rain. I do love all these builds. I just wish I could be apart of it.

She has more tools then I do. I started watching these vids with 2 guys building dug outs and doing everything by hand in rope to keep everything together. Now with nails rubber membranes and the assortment well not as amazing on the survival skill. anyone almost could build something with all that she has with her. Don't get me wrong this is still cool but not as much and she does great work.

Galvanized nails are rust resistant and widely available.

It's all temporary or just for show. None of the videos like this consider drainage.

1-2 years. Not too much on the structure, the maintenance will be on the membrane.
