Nice beast, I think I prefer the exterior design of this generation more then the new one. This one is more massive, bit more vulgar while the latest model looks like jacked up station wagon...

Barrie what do you make of the newer Q7s? Haven't seen you review one before? Apparently the air suspension makes it the most comfortable ride in any class! How does it compare to a RR?

Barrie Crampton enjoy yourself Barrie. You work very hard so deserve a break. Those seats look comfy in that audi. I've got a Volkswagen golf mk 7 and I find the seats very uncomfortable on longer trips. I'm over 6' tall so find the lack of under thigh support a pain (literally😂). Shame as I love the car apart from that. I've achieved 74 mpg on long trips which is amazing!

the bigger the wheels the worse the ride, big wheels look great but compromise the ride quality

Yes but its a great car to drive round in and life is a huge compromise
