This guy really loves his daughter. I was like him for 16 years with my daughter. My wife at one time was upset with my daughter. She ask my daughter do you love your mom. She said yes. How come you hang around your dad too much. My daughter told my wife I love my dad better. It all change after she turned 16 years old. She ask a question about menstrual period and wife answered her and they been close ever since and I got kicked to the curve. I enjoyed those sixteen years with my daughter.
That sucks. You need to take some advice here friend : ZOOM OUT. You had 16 years of closeness with your daughter when she was a child who needed that stability and security. Hopefully she does that for herself now. Your role has to change or you’re gonna be on the outside forever pouting trying to put that girl in a box. Everyone needs to grow, including you dad. Be the best father to your adult child you can.. she wants to call you about how to fix a flat tire or a roof leak. When you don’t like her boyfriends just on the fact that you still see her as a kid youre gonna lose credibility with her bc you’re not a person to be trusted with growth. I dare you to step back and be a bigger man than you think you can be. God bless hope you come back together and stay in each others lives healthy and happy forever take care
