I have a charger 42V outout but when i mesure it voltage jumps up and down from 40V to 60V constantly. What could be the problem what do i need to change to fix it?
@@xVoLAnD Capacitors are fine... there is ic Ob2269cp. Could it be possible that if this ic Ob2269cp works badly it couses the charger to behave like this?
@@StankovicIvanINTER Of course it can, but you can check. Make sure there are no broken tracks. I would also recommend checking all the resistors, especially the NTC is connected to (pin 5) . Check again the capacitor and the diode on the (pin 7) Check the voltage on pin 3 (somewhere 16 volts). Important that the transistor (connected to pin 8) is working and not broken.
i have a charger for my ebike thats reading low at the output. i took it apart and saw no visible damage. it sits somewhere aroundf 36 but jumps up and down when it should be sitting at 54.6 volts. just trying to save this so i dont have to buy another
How could you property measure with DMM parameters of parts which are still mounted on the pcb? That's absurd. 1) some other parts are connected parallely to the measure one. 2) DMM apply some voltage during (for example resistance) measurement, so you could damage some more sensitive IC's.
90% of measurements and fault detection - is done with a multimeter. Damage to chips with a multimeter maybe, but it's not that electrical instrumentation. I see no point in arguing with you, thanks for your comment.
@@xVoLAnD My mistake, I thought a charger had a negative and positive terminal. The charger for my bike is broken, and I want to transfer the special connector to another charger with the same input and output values. However, the colors of the wires don't match. Could you help me determine which color would be the ground among gray, white, and black?
Thank you, my 48v 3 Amp charger just blew 30 minutes ago. This is very informational hope I just need a simple Sauter as my issue was the same. Spark same explosion no voltage

I have kugoo kirin v1 e bike , and it wont charge anymore, green light stays on the charger

This may have many reasons. But according to the described behavior, I can assume the failure of the capacitors in the PWM circuit

Sorry, I'm not technician and this could be the last of the possibilities but multimeter with low battery can show erratic readings.

It is necessary to look at the PWM strapping.
Check the output wire, is it intact?

Do you happen to remember what positive, negative, and grounding were? I also have three wires: black, gray, and white, similar to this charger.
If you are talking about an outlet, there is no plus and minus, but there is a ground. I don't understand the question, sorry 🤷🏻♂️

@@GlenGross77 I'd like to clarify, are we talking about the socket plug? The one that connects to 220V, right?
@@xVoLAnD No, not from the socket, but the cable used to charge the battery.
